Adrian's agent could also have said this earlier. So he said this only yesterday? I don't believe that.

Blue_Nation 01-02-2007 16:29

Everything's so weird lately, i mean Colo aparted, Arbeloa sold , and now Xisco...The worse is that Iago have to stay too, because he was supposed to be loaned to Vecindario with Adrian.

hari 01-02-2007 17:56

the only thing i'm upset abt is Iago's stay.. he must have been loaned out to some club in Segunda, whetther or not Xisco is coming..

Ricardo 02-02-2007 14:22

Congratulations to Xisco and Barragan.. they've just been called up for the Spanish under 21 squad to play England.

depor_hk 02-02-2007 14:53

As Xisco won't be back now, the only positive thing I can think is he may have plenty playing time in reminding season, that is good for a young player who need more chance to learn.

Leon 02-02-2007 15:02

Neither do I see much problems in Xisco staying at the island. What would he have played at Depor, with Taborda's return, Arizmendi and Riki in the squad, Adrian around and Bodipo returning? A few hundred minutes in the Primera. I don't think that means more than another 15-20 matches in the Segunda. Let's remind ourselves, especially the non-Spaniards, that the Segunda is one of the toughest "B-competitions" in Europe. Xisco will learn from it. Valladolid, Cadiz, Salamanca, Sporting, Alaves, Tenerife, Malaga...

well if he came adrian would have beeen gone but i still agree with your point leon. i have no regrets execpt that iago is still here. maybe if we were still in such poor form i would have wanted him to come but it doesnt matter now really. he's better off in segunda

exactly..

american123 03-02-2007 02:58

Yea i think Iago was the one that got hurt the most. He deserves to play and right now I think he's at a 2nd division level and being loaned out could have gotten him a ton of experience

dejan84 03-02-2007 03:05

we must remember this is the topic of Xisco
<== who tha man
i hope he gets to top position i goal scoring, or at least near.
And i hope that he will feature in Deportivo La Coruna next year, that would spectacular, and lets hope Iago gets more chances next year. We need to give more minutes to our young players, to develope their value and make our youth program even more appealing to other top young players. They will know if they have it and train hard, a chance will be waiting first in the thrid division (lets hope fabril gets promoted) and maybe in the first team. We need to develope a youth program like ajax has. With a youth boarding school, daily language lessons, and a lot of training. Its like a sport academy to which anyone could apply.

anuroc 03-02-2007 13:43

I agree it could be better for him staying in the island.

Leon 10-02-2007 22:25

Xisco's Profile is up: http://www.deportivo-la-coruna.com/squad/xisco.html

excellent works these Leon...

Blue_Nation 19-02-2007 12:40

Xisco scored yesterday (penalty kick) his first goal after his injury, and still doing well, even his team Vecindario was beaten 5-1 and remains at the bottom of the table.

hari 30-04-2007 05:36

he was out due to injury for the past few weeks.. he came back yesterday and he scored.. here is the goal..
