Bagsie 27-01-2005 22:17

Yes.
That's a big news here.
Let's see if he stays fit to play there.
He has been an true injurymagnet lately.

Other big news for finnish football fans is the transfer of Teemu Tainio from Auxerre to Tottenham. He is midfielder of our national team too. Hope naybet can teach him a few tricks...

Yeah, it's nice to see he still wants to play. He is such a brilliant player... one of my all time favorite's, no doubt.

And a new star has born? Ryan Babel... he defenitly has the potential to become a new superstriker. Every game he played he had very impressive actions... and he scores very easy. Already 6 goals as a subsitute.

Yesterday I was in the Arena, and again he scored a beautiful goal against Heerenveen. Ajax won with 2-0, "harry" scored his first one for Ajax!

edit: Oh, I found a link to his goal :
re-edit: wrong link, server down... :depresse:

The first two don't work Freek..
I missed his goal against Heereveen, to bad :(

And yes, he will become a star..
He first impressed me when he played with Ajax 2 against a local amateur club (friend of my played against him).. He scored 4, and all goals were powerfull shots.

And now he's proving his talent at Ajax's first team.

Newcastle United have agreed a fee £6M (lot of money for this player) with Birmingham City for Craig Bellamy. Could this renew the Geordies interest in our Walter.

German football has a huuuuge scandal at the moment...

One referee has openly admitted to have manipulated several games. He made that as part/helper of a "betting mafia" which has placed huge amounts on the respective games... Like this, Hamburger SV was eliminated at the hands of a 3rd division side by 2-4 on two laughable penalties and an injust red card...

Every day there are new rumours and revelations, and it seems like there are other referees and some players involved as well

We're a banana republic :o

Jorge 30-01-2005 01:09

Haha, yes indeed...

My best friend is croatian and yesterday he told me he has also been at the Kings Café (most probably the betting mafias public headquarter....) once when he was in Berlin...

A moment later they commented in the TV that Police just had raided that Café the day before yesterday and arrested two persons and confiscated several betting tickets all worth over 1 Million € EACH!!!

I asked him: 'Oh shit and how will you now get your money??'

He answered:' Standing up at 06:00 A.M. and go to work...."
