Tiago is son of Joao Pinto who was a Portugal international member. Joao Pinto is just 37 now!

just found that he is 41 which is a bit more realistic as getting a child in the age of 13 is a bit early.

He's another loan, without a buyout option.

I think we were all excited when we thought it was a permanent deal, a real player for the future that could develop. Instead he'll be gone in 8 months. Don't see the point really when we already have 2 left backs, and 2 more that can play there. I would have seen the logic had it been permanent. It's daft in my opinion, but stil I hope he does great when called upon.

I miss permanent deals

Well, we do need a good left back for those 8 months, so if he is that, than it wouldn't be daft at all IMO.

Of course, as you're hinting at, there may be a point where the squad contains so many short timers that the fabric of the dressing room alters so much that a lack of passion will be apparent. Then there is also the issue of us fans being able to identify with our team (our being the key word) which I definetily is getting increasingly harder.

For me, these hard years, is all about enduring and surviving, and taking the laugh and joys where we can get them.
