The club will be getting fines for RB, even if RB are singing Xmas song. Fans to sell their dignity for 30k, and getting on the Tebas vagon isn't sth i would like to see.

The Supreme Court has ordered the Prosecution to investigate if Lendoiro should be accused of committing a crime. The reason? he sold twice the rights of the club, first fixing the rights as a guarantee before the tax agency and later again before the banks. It is the reason why the 21.8 million were frozen.

Tino will find a solution, as it comes to Lendoiro - total carelessness when he was in charge. This situation reminds of the Bulgarian politics - they take loans, steal money that even for 100 years can't be recouped and then leave all this mess to the next political party just as Lendoiro left all this to Tino, maybe he has some Bulgarian roots who knows.
I'm worried we will have to sell some of the most valuable players we have in order to repay the debt in this six years. Our salary cap will be among the lowest in Primera and will be difficult, unless 3rd party pays it all and then Depor having to pay back with huge interest. There are options but none of them in favor to Depor.

As for our club, we can celebrate, that we can avoid to pay those 20M EUR (lawful) taxes to the Spanish people, but from another aspect we (the club) have just stolen it from them. As populist slogans say, that money could have been spent on cancer-research, education development, growing railway-security to avoid tragic accidents around Compostela.
From now Depor is sponsored by the Spanish Kingdom with those 20M EUR or how many un-paid taxes and as Conchado said, part of it was spent on Lendoiro's luxury dinners and salaries.
I consider, it is the same 20 million once again, and we have to pay it.

Damn those deals for Toro Acuna, Bodipo and Taborda sure did cost us a lot of money!

Lendoiro will apparently be releasing a statement this week, to try and clear his name.

It's a bit lame to blame Lendoiro for anything, from a fan point of view. 95% of us wouldn't be even here if it wasn't for him.

But that is not the point now!! the point now is he left the club with a very big debt that threatens our club future! he spend money unwisely and unnecessarily and he was cheating on tax agency!

we grow bigger than our size and now we are suffering because of this, Lendo is historical president but he also made big mistakes.

Agreed!

It was an amazing 20 years in Primera, punching well above our weight.
But I dont want Depor to be languishing in the lower leagues, struggling with debt, like a Leeds or Nottingham Forest. Teams who were once at the top of the tree.

someone else could have done it. maybe even better. for spending state millions on the salary of Taborda or Desmaraets, you don't need extra quality of management skills. even I could have done it He should have resigned in around 2005.

I accept his brilliancy in getting Mauro Silva, Rivaldo or Bebeto, but otherwise he was a financial analphabet.

In Hungary, at my team ETO, we had a very similar case, the only difference is the presi-guy who stole the money of other people is in jail now for 2 years. Cause here we follow the laws. So ETO supporters don't even agree whether we should count the championship, we won, when led by a theft or not. Btw we are in Hun tercera...

No need to exaggerate with the future perspective of the club.

This is Spain, having debts is the norm, at least that's my view.

As for the Lendoiro debate, i'm pro Lendoiro

Just to add for his financial mistakes, the club led by him produced zero home-grown significant players since Fran. zero...within 25 years. that is a miracle. even my Hun team produced players for Watford, Gladbach and Leipzig/Bröndby. Depor academy's biggest achievement under Lendoiro is Insua at Leganes and JuanDo in Mallorca...
