300-350kbit/s should be enough I think!! Sounds like an interesting idea Jorge, hope it can develope to something really nice...

No, surely not, as my Upload speed is only 512K/s, that would only be enough for around 4 people with a double bandwith stream compared to TVGalicia ...

The streaming would be send from an Internet Server that should be able to feed 30+ people ... but that will be tested well ... I thought on re-transmitting the Depor-Milan match during the testphase... but will have to recode the match to different sizes/bandwith to then test what is pleasing to watch....

I just thought I could collect some hints here...

I remember one time I saw a cup match that was ok on TVG I think the problem is that there are to many users using it at the same time.

320*240 I think is enough if only the stream is better...

Jorge,
i have 400-something K downloadspeed, but still have problems with watching streams at around 300K...

I think that about 300K is around max. for people with standard ADSL connection.
Personally i prefer a little less resolution and sound quality, but garantueed streaming....

I agree with that- about 300kbps is absolutely fine- no need for more surely! Justy a decent picture but guaranteed as Chronic Inebriety said

Another question Jorge- I know you explained before- how do you pick up matches- you have satellite but you always get pictures from feed- what is this?
Just a quick explanation would be nice- so sorry if u already explained already. It might help any1 dumb like me.

The Feeds directly from the stadiums from La Liga are broadcasted via Eutelsat W3A at the position 7°East and I hope them to stay on that satellite, as long as the actual contracts are valid, but even this could change at anytime.

We got a topic for Satellite receiving specific questions, please check if the information given there, might be enough to answer further questions, or even better just ask those there... :
