Default English Clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Man.Utd, Liverpool etc.)

During the summer Chelsea have pretty much become Real Madrid 2. The bought players like they were on sale in the super market.
When I heard they signed crespo and maybe makelle is was to much.

wouldn't be cool to have a rich owner like them and sign who ever wanted.
Like a pimp, hmmm a rumor Bill Gates is a depor fan.

The worst thing is that Abramovich just chose to buy Chelsea the way you pick your socks in the morning. I don't think he even knew much about the club. He said he almost decided to buy Spurs instead. The Crespo thing was way too much for me. Now how are Inter ever going to win anything?

Have now signed Makelele from Real. Has Abram had enough now?

Chelsea let a goal in their cage only 30 sec from the kick-off in 1st half.
Desalliy responsible for the nightmare goal by Andy Cole .

If I were a Chelsea-fan I wouldn't like it at all because he is buying so much that the soul of Chelsea is gone.

I take it as an interesting experiment but I think also their fans are generally quite positive about it.

That's the power of money baby!
Let's us now convince Armancio Ortega to buy Depor from Lendoiro! Then we can pick up one by one the player we thought impossible previously!!!
A real fan must be willing to spend for our cause just like Roman Abramovich. Just devotion alone is not enough. Cash speaks louder!!!
Then again, this will be very bad for the soul and intregity of the team.

No thanks Forza Lendoiro !
BTW, it's AMANCIO Ortega. A textile businessman who's not a football expert like Lendoiro.

Crespo, Makelele and Mutu are all very good signing, and they're all rich with foreign experience. But I would have paid a zillion dollars to keep Zola's contract. He was a part of Chelsea. I don't understand Veron though. Still running on his Lazio rep if you ask me.

Abramovich has admitted he had no real interest in football before buying Chelsea, and apparently he can't even speak English so his purchase of Chelsea is deeply strange. I suppose he sees it as a rich man's plaything. If I were a Chelsea fan, I'd have mixed feelings here - obviously it 's great to see top players arrive at the club, but what happens when Abramovich grows tired of the club?

I can't help thinking of the film "Citizen Kane" when I read about this curious man!
