Retired.

He never liked football, he looked at it as only a job. He didn't participate in trainings a lot throughout his career. That was the only reason why he was never one of the best and hadn't played for the biggest teams.

He went on gambling, alcohol and such; that was his fall.

But I must say, he is the most talented footballer I've ever watched.

I'd never heard of him either but it looks like he was a good player.

The fact about him being a very talented player never reaching his full potential seems a bit like Marcelo Rios. But he managed to make to number 1.

You mean Salas, isn't it?

About Sergen, I particularly remember him at Besiktas and the Turkish national team. Very talented player.

I was talking about that tennis player Rios. Sorry, I probably could've written my sentence a bit clearer.

Yeah, I remember Salas was a good player at the '98 World Cup but then just sort of faded away a few years later, I think.
