Default Possible targets from smaller Liga clubs

Instead of hoping for some miracles from Brazil (through GSA) we should be watching closely who to sign from other Liga clubs. We're big enough to be an attractive destination to players from most of the clubs, even without Champions League participation.

Espanyol for example is financially weak. Maxi Rodriguez (24) and Jarque (22) are interesting from there.

The best option will be degrading teams as they need to be freed of the big salaries. I don't think Espanyol will sell us some players as we already own them a lot of money from Sergio's transfer and they will play European football next year. Moreover, Maxi cost them around €4 million and they will ask more than that. A pity, cause I like him a lot.

I would sign:
Mallorca's Fernando Niño (CD) or Delibasic (F). The first one is too expensive for a team that's bound to 2nd div. We have the same problem as with Espanyol (Luque's transfer) though.
Pacheco, Albacete (2nd F, O.MF): better than Javi Guerrero and can be a substitute for Valerón.

You can also fish in Malaga (Miguel Ángel), Osasuna (Valdo), Levante (Rivera) and Real Sociedad (Labaka, Aramburu).

However, I think Depor will go for free agents (Juanito from Málaga, Ezquerro from Bilbao, Guerrero from Racing, Jandro from Celta) and 1 or 2 big names (Lucho and similar ones).

The same was said of Idiakez and Urzaiz. The first one went to play for a 2nd division team and Urzaiz renovated again with Ath. Bilbao. Better wait and see what happens.

I don't like Tevenet. He has spent a lot of years in Primera (in Sevilla) and never did anything... Luis García, could be... I think it's better than Guerrero.

I wonder how much Llorente is worth now. I suppose he is unobtainable.

So, you like to think, hmmm?

Well, if you think a way we can get a minimum of €24 million to sign him, please tell Lendoiro. Or tell me and I swear I will go to A Coruña and stand up in front of Lendoiro's office till he lets me explain your idea.

I think the only Baptista we can afford is a certain Ana Baptista, distant cousin of a Christ's athlets...

PS: No offense intended with these post Hippykid and AP. I think it's funny to talk about less known players and come out with the name of Baptista.

Not for sale as Athletic prefers to free Urzaiz. I think however that Eibar's Llorente is way better: dynamic, fast, good technique... and he can score, not only in 2nd division but also proved himself in Real Sociedad.
