Yes, the Costa Rica thingy! Well, those will probably be my favorites of the last ten years I'll also buy one when the official font is available Not the black one though, I'd like to have the home shirt, so everyone knows it's Depor without this happening:

Some guy: "Hey, is that Real Madrid's logo?"
Me: "No dammit, it's Deportivo "

But I still love my yellow cross one

Phwoar the black one is nice! Grrr, I can't afford to buy another shirt though. It's bewteen the Depor Black shirt or the West Ham home shirt on my list of shirts to buy at the moment!

By the way, the second and third shirt don't have that box where the number of the player is placed in. Is that to be changed?

I just saw on Tv 10 seconds of Deportivo training earlier this morning. The training suits are quite ugly, but they have a big dosis of black. They match those templates from Costa Rica. The coach t-shirt is kinda yellow-gold with the same template as Getafe.

Now the word "Deportivo" appears in the front of the training shirts, over the Fadesa logo. Its in a calygraphic font and looks very crap IMO. That font is used as well in this sketch, so I think those will be Depor shirts for 06/07. Maybe we have an extra special edition

If the shirts have a solid back ground then they can get away with no white box.

However there is a regulation that the numbers must be clear on the pitch and hence the white box is present.

This mainly applies to the home shirt - however it applied to the thrid shirt last season as it was a dark colour and Depor did not opt for white numbering.

Sevilla and Getafe have launched their new Joma kits today. With Racing joining Joma and releasing their design the other evening I would think Depor would unveil the centenary shirt sometime next week or the early part of the following week at the latest.

I too would be in favour of a white shirt with black shorts as stated by Martin and Ralo. I think the club's centenary logo will be incoporated in the shirt somewhere.

I agree with Diligent. All the Joma Spanish teams have presented their kits, and if Depor already has the training equipment (in the last years they were coming some days before the shirts) its because there's somethig done about the whole kits.

The biggest change will be this new paintbrush style that Joma is using (just see the front of the proposed shirts!!). The name/brand Joma on the chest is coming inside a white box in every model and this doesn't appear in the models online. Maybe the centenary logo will appear somewhere. Maybe on the left side of the 3 kits, were Joma placed some strange stripes as a compesatio to the big ones on the right shoulder.

I found out that the font used is called Mistral, or its very similar to this one. I guess that will be the one used for the numbering and the names on the back. Maybe, we wont have anymore the names in capital letters, and they will be written normally (Before it was DE GUZMAN and now it can be De Guzman, that can be difficult to read, specially in that font)
I really don't like them, but we will have to get used to them, and then we will love them...

That's what it would look like if Mistral would be used for the numbering. With all capitals it would be alright IMO, otherwise not. The numbers look strange though.

But I think the font might be the same as last year, they're using it for Costa Rica's shirt as well.

I'd be awesome if they went back to some old retro kit from the 70's.

So is there no presentation date for the shirts? Just this computer image of them online?

I hope they will do the shirt presentation before they trip to he south of Spain. Today there's a small article at El Ideal Gallego about it. Maybe tomorrow, or we will have to wait ...
