This was a game that showed glimpses of Super Depor. Some of the football was an absolute treat to watch and my only worry was that we weren't going to be rewarded for our football.

Bilbao were lucky not to have had their keeper sent off in the 2nd half when we should have had a definate penalty after Verdu rounded Iraizoz and got clipped.

Bodipo worked his ass off but was stretchered off, so I hope he's not too badly hurt. Verdu had a great game, especially in the 1st half and in Guardado and Lafita, we have 2 workaholics who have real quality.

For me, that was the most enjoyable match to watch I've seen from us in what seems like ages.

Holy crap, I just saw the highlight where Llorente missed in front of the goal.

Nice counterattack to end it, slick passing, and did Verdu start it? Whoever held off the defender on the high ball to get the attack started is a badass.

We played great which was reallyreally nice to see after last weeks disappointing display.

It could have turned the other way when they've missed that 100% chance to equalize, while we were close to score more as well. They've had many open spaces at the back, but our counter attacks were not quick and effective. Luckily we managed to realize the last counter attack moment thanx to Guardado.

The defencive line was OK, but sometimes losing concentration. Sergio was far better than Tomas. Mista was not sharp, but still trying hard.

Great display from Depor. Despite Athletic being the weakest team we have faced this season it was fantastic game. The only thing that made me angry was letting the final 15 minutes to be a fight. It should have been already done back then. Deportivo could have won 6:0 that game, but as usual we missed some chances. Referee has stolen us a penalty and Guardado missed one on one and he also could have passed better in the final minutes - two passes - to Mista and to Cristian were far too high. The last minute goal made the picture of his match a bit more colourful.

Players that need to be mentioned as the best ones are definitely Bodipo, Verdu, Manuel Pablo and Ze Castro I think. Aranzubia saved the penalty but his save in last minutes, when only God knows how could Llorente block the shot on the line, was very unconfident and could have cost us 2 points what would be a drama after such a game.

Athletic didn't deserve anything and if they don't start playing better the first relegation ever will come true this season.

We seem to be on fire before UEFA Cup clash against Feyenoord. I hope the stadium on Thursday will be almost full (25,000 would satisfy me ) and we will kill the last hopes of Dutch team

We had to overcome the aggresive and from time to time dirty game of the Bilbao players, plus the crappy ref.
The spirit shown by the team reminded me last year's game against Valladolid!

Man of the match: Manuel Pablo! (His action in the last minutes was beautiful - he wasted the time on the highest level!)
Good first half by Verdu, but he was disappeared in the 2nd.
JR had a surprisingly decent game.
Filipe and Piscu did well, too.
Aranzubia saved the game for us, however his mistake in the 2nd half was unbelievable.
Lafita and Guardado were really good as well- as always...

Apart from 10 minutes at the end of the game it was a good game to watch.
Bilbao are a poor side, but we played very well or well in patches.
A deserved victory that keeps us at the right end of the table

Fantastic, this is the best game for depor in the whole season, may be the best in years, verdu was graet with Lafita and Guardado... what a nice game to watch... what a performance. By the way the refree is stupid.
