Default Carlos Tevez (now at West Ham United)

I wanted to create a topic from this marvelous player. What do you
guys think of him?? I would love to see him in Depor, but probably
he will go to some big club like RM or Milan. But hey, maybe Lendoiro will snap him in front of other clubs....you never know...

02/05/1984!!! i feel old!!!

saviola imo is more of a second striker-whereas tevez is an out and out goalscorer!!!

I think he was voted this year as the best player in
South-America.... that gives you a clue how good he is...

He is a great player but look at his price. I think Bayern Munich wanted to have him last year. But 20 million were not enough.

Even if we could get Tevez, where should he play?
Everyone talks about him as if he is a striker.
he is a atacking midfielder, and we have a much better player at that position, namely Valeron.
And i don't think that Tevez would be satisfied with a place on the bench

Tevez is like Nihat or even Eto'o, they seem unstoppables when they are in a run with the ball well controlled. But I don't know why I get the feeling he will be a case of traumatic adaptation to European football if he ends in the wrong club.
Idols at Boca = biggest failures in Europe; for every Maradona or Walter Samuel who break the rule you have many likes of Riquelme (Barça), Palermo (Villareal & Betis), Latorre (Fiorentina & Tenerife) --> in Boca he paired with Batistuta but La Bombonera's idol was Latorre).

Hell, anyone can remember "Manteca" Martinez? When he came to Depor he became one of the biggest dissapointments of our history.

Maybe a big team will get him and loan him out to a team from a less hectic league like, France or Portugal.
This way he could get used to European football.
But if he directly lands up In the Primera division, EPL or in the Serie A, then it will end up the way you suggest Anuroc.
