On loan players: Lucas, Adrian, Valverde, Koval and Bakkali all goes back and apart from Bakkali I don't think anyone has a chance to return.. I have a gut feeling that we would buy Gil and he would stay..

Contract ends: Navarro, Ruben ends their contracts and that must be it..
Boveda, Muntari and Krohn-Dehli also ends their contract but I feel at least two of them would stay..

Loaned: Saul and Rober returns but feel that Rober would be sold to Levante..

For Guillherme, I don't think he is going to play in Segunda and noone is going to pay for him, so must get loaned to a Primera/Serie'A' team..

Plus, Albentosa and Tyton might stay since they have a contract and may not have any offers from Primera..
Another player rumoured is Rolan who might end up staying with us as well..

Fabril Players
------------
Edu and One looks good to get promoted..
Pinchi, Caballo also might be promoted especially Caballo..

Possible squad(part) next season:
Tyton
Boveda, Luisinho, Albentosa, Valentin, Caballo, One
Mosquera, Muntari, Krohn-Dehli, Edu
Cartabia, Gil, Borja Valle, Pinchi(?), Rolan(?)

That should be about 15 players for next season and we might sign another 5-6 players..

Tino already declared that Tyton contract will be terminated

Its all true, we got more players under contract, we even got some players that the sporting director/coach wanted and they send away some players that they didn't want. So the financial and contractual aspect improved in the last couple of years....but, the pure selection proved to be wrong, since we are in Segunda.

Maybe even a lot of us forum members were satisfied with this and last years names and without a doubt our president and his sporting partners were happy aswell. The lineup last season was enough to stay in Primera and this years it was to end in the middle of the table, I think we can be realistic in this sense.
Both asumptions were wrong - the selection of players to come and go was wrong. Keeping Mel was wrong, firing Victor is debatable (in my opinion wrong) and hiring Garitano was wrong. The asumption that we could attract a decent coach was wrong. The asumption that we could attract a decent Goalie was wrong (Soria, Lopez cases) eventhough we proved to be a stable Primera team (also with our history) we couldn't attract better options.
Chosing hope of quality over players with Depor heart (Lux,Laure,Alex) proved wrong. Again, we hoped that Guilherme, Pantilimon,Koval, Boveda, Valentin would do the trick but they didn't.

I think it is time to restart the Depor project. OK, we got a new sporting director - he needs to find a red line of this project - don't change it all the time and adapt to the 7th option as FV mentioned. Have real, achivable targets and have backups that are possible. Don't settle, but do your research way ahead of crisis time and be smart in transfers and contracts. They have to have a "What if" answered all the time. Look at characters of players, rewardtheir loyalty and achivments in Depor shirt. Isolate and exclude trouble-makers, establish a hierarchy, include Fabril and Juventil into the equazion - make a team. The fans will come, the results will come and we all will be proud.

While it's nice for the fans to feel identified with "own" players, reality in modern football is that players tend to play better under no "secure" cases, or under "trial" cases...
When a players signs a long-term contract he feels relaxed and losing motivation.

So having a mercenary tied for 3 years, or having a mercenary on loan for 6 months, doesn't make much of a difference.

We are all dissapointed by the goals scored by Lucas Perez this season. But I still think he did a good job.

And with list, it is clear to see why we enjoyed such a good half season with him and L. Alberto

So Juanfran wants to stay and has endorsed keeping Seedorf as the coach. I wonder how many others feel that way within the squad?

Hopefully Mosquera, Valle, Schar, Cartabia and Gil. With Sidnei leaving, I would be really happy to see Schar staying.

I have doubts that Gil wants Seedorf as the coach.

If Seedorf leaves, does Carmelo have a coach ready to join us?
That has to be the solution - be prepared. Seedorf not wanting to stay is a real option, also evaluation if we want him to stay needs to be done. Have a plan.

If we get a decent offer, I would have no issues with Juanfran leaving.
He has a good engine and gets up and down the wings. But he is not great at defending and his final ball is very poor.

So having said that, I would rather have Valentin plus a new RB.

Juanfran is not the long term answer if Depor is promoted to Primera. Keep Valentin and bring in another more defensive minded RB (similar to what Laure was) and we'll be ok. Especially for what Juanfran will demand in contract we can get several young players instead

Letting Juanfran go will be another mistake. He is our best right-back with a lot of experience and more importantly he cares about Depor and so far has been with the club despite the offers had. We must keep such players so the young generation could be around them and learn from them.

Totally agree Toni, but if we can get any money for him at all, he will surely be sold. And that will be another mistake.
