Default LIGA | Racing Vs Deportivo | 29.11.2009 - 17h00 | pre-match comments

It seems a repetition of the match of the past week, because we face another rival in deep trouble. Right now Racing is separated from relegation just by the goal difference and fired the coach recently. Miguel Angel Portugal returned and is the new coach, but it seems that Santander will suffer until the end to achieve the permanence.

Besides, the Sardinero is one of our preferred stadiums, we have only lost once there since the 1950's

(Un)Fortunately I won't be able to see the match, but I'm confident we will continue with our winning streak

lets hope for another win, but i dont take it for granted at all.
Against ATM i had a good feeling, now just a neutral one, like for a draw

Yes, I found that quite amusing when the article first appeared.

Here you are:

Yes, I know it's a google map , but just enter the following address and you'll both be fine.

Plaza del Cañadío to Hotel Palacio del Mar, Santander

Anyway, have fun and bring 3 points back through customs.

Stuff that I am sure that even in our drunken state we will find our way back as long as we do not take the scenic route

As noted in his thread, it looks like Guardado will be out because of H1N1

If it's going to happen, I'd rather that he's out against Racing than a club higher up in the table. We can play Riki there or give Ivan Perez a shot.
If Angulo was healthy, I'd say that we should put Felipe at winger.

we're not losing this game I'm pretty sure, but I don't know if we can win tho. A draw is most likely. But if we play like we did against atletico then we can win easily

Eduardo Alvarez of Soccernet made his prediction for the match in the soccernet quiniela.

Not only the fact that there's twelve spots between both teams but there's also the idea that Deportivo love playing at Santander (15 positive results in 20 visits). Coach Miguel Ángel Portugal had his first game at the Bernabéu last Saturday, although this will actually be his first serious match after a proper week of work with the team.

Even if the new gaffer manages to get the most out of young star Sergio Canales, who did more in 20 minutes at the Bernabéu than Mr. Benzema has done all year, that should not be enough against the born-again Super Depor.

a very difficult game and crucial

we have to win this game cause our chances of winning it are bigger than our chances of winning against Barca ,,,, so at least manage to get a draw from this match

Players for the game: Aranzubia, Manu, Laure, Manuel Pablo, Adrián, Colotto, Lopo, Filipe, Sergio, Juan Rodríguez, Antonio Tomás, Pablo Álvarez, Guardado, Iván Pérez, Valerón, Lassad, Adrián López, Mista and Riki.

It seems the lineup will be:

Aranzubia
M Pablo - Colotto - Lopo - Filipe
Sergio - Juan Rodriguez - Antonio Tomas
Lassad - Riki - Guardado

But don't discard to see Mista replacing Lassad, or even both can play at the same time as Sergio or Antonio Tomas could be benched.

The good thing is that we have plenty of options for the game

Looks like a good lineup! we should be able to win this! Hopefully the riki-lassad combination will work and get us some goals! It wont be shown on tv here so have to follow the match through the forum.
