Alaves are joint bottom of the league alongside Hercules. They will be fighting for the 3 points as a victory could lift them out of the relegation zone.
This is a must win game for us if we are to avoid complications in the final games.

We could certainly take advantage of their nerves.

The question is, if we take the lead, will we go for the second goal and keep pressing high up on the pitch, or will we once again just wait at the back until they equalize?

If we win here, we have a chance of getting promoted every matchday until the end of the league. This game is obviously vital. It would take away the doubts that have been created the past two weeks, and it would set us up for a very comfortable end of the season. Especially if Tenerife would be so kind to beat Las Palmas in the Canarian derby.

I am wondering since this is an away match and after suffering in the last to matches ..is FV going to use a more defensive game and play counters?

Actually it seems he's planning to start with both Ifrán and Toché. Interesting idea, were it not that we're not used to playing that way and changing to a completely new strategy at the end of the season is VERY risky. Especially since Alavés needs the three point and is very likely to go on the attack. If there's one game where our defensive approach would be useful, it's this one...

maybe he will move the wings a bit back to the center in the case of Alaves attack and move up with counters

so if we manage to get two early goals ....you won't blame him if he introduces a defender or wilk ?

There's something I don't like of this game: there are around 100 games in Spain at the same hour , including Atletico, Madrid and Barca.

I hope the streams will work

About the lineup, he has tested of everything, 4231, 5221 & 4141
Today Luisinho was the left back and Seoane played on the right in a system with 3 central defenders. Juan Carlos was the left winger, but was tackled by Lopo and got off

I dont like that there is never stability with the formations and now he is tampering with the tactics again.
The players dont know whats going on, at this stage of the season they should be playing from memory.

thats kind of weird after 37 games we still don't have stability in our formation and style of playing and we're still first - cool. I hope we're going to play more offensive and seeking for the win the full 90 min, I have my doubts that's its going to be like this but we need to have hope.

This leopard won't change his spots - expect the usual 3 formations in this game.

I won't get to see the game myself, but I've got many replays of it already in my head from the 37 other liga games already this season..........

the magical tactician has 3 different tactics. that is 3 times more than Mou's nr of variation.

actually at this stage of their careers they players should play from memory those tactics.

This is weird. La Sexta picked our game and now they won't show the game on TV, only in Internet. I'm not sure if we will have streams for the game
