Default LIGA 13-01-2008 Villarreal 4v3 Deportivo (Post Match Comments)

Before the game, I never expected anything from this game and to be honest, we probably shouldn't feel too dissapointed with this result when we think of the team we had to put out.

However, we took the lead twice and each time threw it away within 5 minutes.

I feel sorry for the Fabril guys that came in and conceded 4 goals.

Overall, I can't help feel dissapointed but one thing is for sure, it's the next few games where we have to win.

I'm not disappointed about the result, I'm disappointed about the consequences this result gave - 4 points up to safety.

we can't get it with such an unexperienced defensive line.

Let's find something positive here - we scored 3 goals for the first time this season. The bad thing is that we lost anyway. I don't blame Fabril guys and I hope to see them again. What to say about Pablo Amo - don't know, but I think it's better to call him good. To be honest - I didn't expect anything here, maybe 1 point, maybe not. Now we have 5 extra-important matches - the most important matches this season. And here we should look for our chance to stay in Primera.

Vamos Depor!

I expected a loss from this match, but feel dissapointed to lose a match in which you score three times.

We'll stay in Primera, don't you worry !

FORZA DEPOR !!!

Next Games

Almeria (Away)

I think we need 12 points from the next 5 games, particularly as the following games are Espanol, Sevilla, Valencia and Real Madrid.

every knows i was expecting a defeat

But Frankly i didn't think depor will manage to be leading in the game

now there is only one game left for lotina and maybe this one is the last one for him

Lendoiro must think fast on what can save the team maybe getting another Maistro + striker + DMF + a winger

forget about promissing shit striker and bring one with enough experience

Totally agree!
In the game 19, the relegation zone is at 21 points. In the game 24 it will be in 26-27 points approximately.
So taking 9 points in the next 5 games, means 26 points, just in the edge of relegation zone, but after we have so difficult games. So, we need 12 points, meaning 4 wins in the next 5 games. More than difficult

I felt proud of my team today, they showed an aggresive and high spirited attitude towards the whole game, and could just as easily have walked away with all three points in the bag. I feel sad about the loss and our precarious table position, but I don't feel dissapointed at all, as I couldn't have expected anything more.

Depor all the way, all else is just bullshit!
