I hope Felipe stays...we may find other left backs but we might not find a left back who puts in as much effort as Felipe...he makes lot runs forward, scores goals and provides assists. He can also play in other psoitions. Lendoiro should keep him and if we qualify for CL then he might stay.

Filipes buyout clause is 20 m., so if Real offers that amount, Lendoiro has to sell

CORUNA, Spain (AP) — A Deportivo La Coruna defender Luis Filipe will likely miss the remainder of the Spanish league after suffering multiple leg fractures on Saturday.

Filipe came down awkwardly and with the weight of goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz on top of him after scoring in the 49th minute against Athletic Bilbao.

First reports said Filipe fractured his ankle, tibia and fibula from the cringing play.

The Brazilian left back had been the club's standout player of the season. It also likely ended his chances of making Brazil's team for this summer's World Cup.

Hope he recovers soon...all the best to him!

Absolutely terrible. Who knows when he will be able to play again, or even if he will be able to play again. An absolutely horrible moment. Memories of Manuel Pablo's injury come into my head.

All the best to him. We will miss him hugely.

Surely we will get someone in on loan now for our casualty struck left side?

Damn, of all the players in Depor, he was the one who deserved this the least. Poor Filipe, I wish him the best.

What a setback for both Depor and especially Filipe. He was growing so fast, developing into a world football star... Such a shame Hope he recovers as quick as possible, in physical and in mental sense, and returns even stronger.

Grande Filipe Luis!!!

Hope quick recovery for Filipe! For himself and for Depor as well..

Somehow the resemblance is big when thinking about Manuel Pablo's case some many years back; rumours about RM being interested in our wing defender and then a long-term injury that messes that up.. Not that I want to see our star players in white though. No, no..

Devastating. Of all the players it could happen to. I hope he returns in time to make Brazil's World Cup squad.
