In chinese nespaper and website they say that the Russian richer Abu wants to get Depor and make depor another Chelsea. Its said that Abu has talked it with the depor chair Lendoiro, who are very interested in the idea too.The richer want to make the team stronger to fight with Barca and RM.Maybe depor will become his toy in Spain

It seems like this is actually based on the same information as the one linking Abramovich to Deportivo. See the Transfer section...

This is a complete nonsense...why do you think Lendoiro is crying in every opportunity about the increase of capital? He doesn't want that possibility to happen. I doubt that a rich man will buy the club, at least no whit Lendoiro as chairman.

Wtf, i hope all this is a joke. I dont want someone like him in depor. The hole idé of Deportivo is against all that he stands for.

Personally, I do think we need a rich benefactor to boost the club, but not necessarily Abramovich. I don’t like the idea of becoming another team in his collection (Chelsea, Corinthians, CSKA Moscow - incidentally it looks he’s collecting them alphabetically!!) as we would undoubtedly become a feeder club for Chelsea, a Chelsea ‘B’ so to speak.

That’s not what any of us would like to see happen to our beloved club. Ideally I would want a local millionaire to take over from Lendoiro as the principal shareholder and take the club into a new era where if can compete financially with the cream of Europe. I would love the owner of the “Zara” clothing empire to take us over, as he is a local boy and financial heavyweight who has been linked with the club in the past.

I believe that the Abramovich rumour is just that a rumour, as I think he would prefer to take over a team that is on the up and showing potential rather than one that may be coming to the end of it's cycle!!

on one side the idea is very attractive - competing again with the best for title instead of for third places -
BUT we won't see anything like a Superdepor again... or it will be with superstars instead of with Bebeto's (i don't mean Bebeto wasn't a superstar or so)
I have nothing against Abramovich at all, even like him, but him and Depor's basic fundamentals, that doesn't go together... Or does it??? If Ledoiro would have the money, then Depor would have been already a second Madrid or Chelsea as well, not?

Better Abramovich than second division.

look all abramovich wants to do is buy a stake in depor not control it. the majority share would still be Lendoiro but we would have his money

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

I would love if amancio ortega would buy the club.. A real depor fan with lots of cash he wont turn the club into a feeder club ore something like that he would support it..
