Hi guys !
Saviola is a skillful player and he is made for the spanish championship. He has a very effective vision of the game. But, if he is not motivated, he does nothing, he hardly runs. If he doesn't feel that he is the key player in the team, then he is way too expensive for the results he could bring. Our club didn't want him back with another year on loan because he was not efficient enough. To tell you, he didn't cost us much in terms of goals (despite having a bonus of €6,000 for each goal). So, I think he is a bit overrated and that's also why Barcelona doesn't really want him back... Having said all that, I still believe he is an incredible player, with unbelievable skills.

According to El Mundo Deportivo Barca's officials admitted that they have offers from: Sevilla, Deportivo and Betis. All of them are for a loan operation with Saviola. They also said that there are others offers coming from out of Spain, but the player wants to continue his career in la liga. So it's seems that the final decision will be made between this 3 clubs.

There will surely be some wage compromise though? I can't imagine Depor would pay any fee for someone with such a salary, kind of like Liverpool and Figo.

3.5 million his salary. of course Depor will not accept this; in fact, Saviola will have to reduce his salary to something like 1 million igf he wants to join Depor...

I think if Saviola receive respect from the coach, the club and warm welcome from the fans and teammates, he should be motivated and would become a passionate player. I remember the first year he played for Barca was good.

He is still good. He is Young and also has to the desire to remain in La Liga... therefore i believe should attempt sign the players at all costs...

he is Colo would get along well.... this is a positive...

Question: Is there any Argentine Players in the Seville and Betis Squads?

No (afaik). Sevilla teams usually prefer Brazilians (Alves, Baptista, Renato, Adriano, Oliveira, Edu, Assunçao, Denilson).

afaik=as far as I know

Saviola can definatly do good in Depor! He has wandered enough and now he has to settle in some club if he wants to leave some mark in football. He has all qualities to succed as forward: good control, good shot, great velocity and passion! He may be small but so were Maradona and Pele.

I liked his play against Brazil in SA qualifications some month ago. He played more on right wing but still managed to make lot of trouble in Brazil defence. He sold couple of tunnels to poor Roque Junior and managed to assist for goal with good cross.

As you mentioned above, he would probably incorporate well in our squad since there are four argentinians in he squad already.

This leaves his salary and transfers fee as our `only` problem. But then again, we have Leondiro...

Colo decided to earn less money in order to get out of Milan and play football.
Saviola has said several times he wont lose a single euro of his contract (and his contract is huge).

Big diference.

Im not sure that neither Espanyol, Sevilla, Betis or we would agree to keep his current salary! And he hasnt been linked lately with some big-money club.
