Ayala reminds me of a certain F. Hierro! But he's still a great defender. I'd pick (assuming I was super rich) Zidane, Cocu, Puyol.

um... I think I'm with caabrego here... there's a difference between a fighter/winner and someone who just complains all the time... Following this reasoning, we should sign Roy Keane... but the problem is that he's a "gangster"...
There's a difference between someone with a strong character and a trouble-maker. In my humble opinion people like Ayala or Keane are the second...

The players would have to be...

1. Joaquin
2. Kily
3. Ronaldo

It would be great to see these players in depor.. I don't say that they are the best possible players in La Liga, outside depor, but I personally like all of these very much..

Although Kily could be bad choice to pick, ´cos he doesn't seem to keep out of from the injury list..

Number one choice from outside the La Liga would, without a doubt, be Alvaro Recoba..

Recoba is the highest paid player in the world. He's also one of the most inconsistent players in the world, who has 1 or 2 good games the entire season, with 30 mediocre to crap games.

NO THANKS!

Yeah, I´m aware of Recoba´s situation, and that was more like dreaming when thinking about him moving to depor. But that´s just crap to say he plays only 1 or 2 good games in the entire season, ´cos he does play lot more good games and usually, when he does, he plays not only good, but stunning games.. And I know he ain´t too consistent, but he is not the only great player like that.. So I get your point, and your thoughts about Recoba, but He´s a great player and I would love to see him in my favourite team - deportivo.

hehe! Irureta would go mad with a player like Recoba... "too Djalminha for him".... (pure magic, but irregular...).
