Against Villarreal he was definitely brilliant. And the reason I said 2-3 was that I couldn't decide which of those I should call "brilliant" or "world class"

Hahaha, fair enough then.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, just good to establish that we're talking about the same thing.

In my mind, there's no question here at all. Julian has done amazing this season. He had a quite hard time making it to the starting 11 in the start, but since he found his form, he's been truly amazing.

Totally agree (for once ), with the possible exception of Arbeloa he has been the only who has made a big positive impact pretty much anytime he has played. I'm sure that if he get the confidence a given place in the lineup elicits, he'll shine even more next season.

Very difficult to choose but I went for De Guzman who just gets the nod ahead of Aouate.

I think Cristian has had a better season than most on that list too.

That's a tough one since some players only played half a season.

For a differentiated view, I'd put:

1st half of the season: Arbeloa
2nd half of the season: de Guzman
Players that played all season: head-to-head between Lopo and Aouate.

@deporiginal: you left out Arbeloa and Lopo, both worth votes more than Sergio and Manuel Pablo, in my opinion.

Ah you're right, thanks.

I'd put them in the poll right away, if I knew how to change a poll

Why isn't Cristian on the list? Considering he came from 2B I think he's had an amazing debut season. Methinks he has a bright future ahead. As he isn't on the list I've voted for Aouate for the amount of times he saved are arses during the season.

Sorry, I can't remember all of them Well maybe I can, but I made this poll in half a minute

Maybe Rik or Feli can put them on the list, cause I don't see any option to alter a poll.
