World Football For other football that's not related to Depor. For example: the Primera División, Segunda División A, Segunda División B, the Champions League, EURO 2008, the World Cup 2010, Italy, England, Germany, Turkey etc. |

![]() Ugh, the two coaches in the studio on Belgian tv said that wasn't the case anymore. Idiots! Incidentally, both of them were Dutch
![]() Although I did read that for some reason Alves was supposed to go first initially, but they at the very end they changed the list and swapped him with Nani, which caused the confusion on Alves' part. Very unprofessional. And as DK said, don't let the coach make up the order for penalties... |

![]() I am not that sure. Has someone seen, that CRonaldo or Casillas has given a paper to the refs with the list of players who kick the first 5 penalties? Me not.
Since the whole teams are in the starting circle during the penalties (in the last 4-6 years), I think it can be anyone who takes the following penalty, from those who has not taken any. I think Bento just wrote the list for himself, not for the refs. I think Alba was very good in the second half of the extra time, (the limited part I saw), he even assisted Iniesta for an almost goal, brilliantly.

![]() Jeeez, Del Bosque made me suffer so much yesterday, I really hope he sorts it out for the final.
1) Starting Negredo, our 3rd choice striker never paid off. 2) Replacing Negredo with Fabregas did not pay off offensively. 3) Why did Torres or Llorente not get a chance? 4) Navas & Pedro did add a lot of pace to the attack, especially Pedro. But where was the reference up front for crosses, free kicks and corners - It was actually quite embarassing that we were unwilling to take proper corners. 5) Arbeloa is the weakest link in this team - am suprised JuanFran hasnt featured yet. Torres or Llorente need to start for the final, Torres would be my preferred choice because of the runs he makes.

![]() lets just hope for the sake of football and people watching any on tv, that Spain loses in the final with their boring Tiki-Taka barca style of play.
i am quite sure germany will steamroll through them if they get to the final, while italy would probably suffer pretty bad |

![]() I was supporting Portugal from the beginning. It's a pity they are out.
I'm still thinking they played very well. At the end it was a question of luck. Bruno Alves hit the bar and the ball went outside, Fabregas hit the post and the ball went inside... Never mind - Portugal is a good team and when Mourinho will take the team, they will win trophies. Hopefully this will happen earlier...

![]() Portugal is a too small country, to produce 15-20 classy player in the same players generation, and to gain a lot of marketing interests to "let" them win.

![]() Great game by Italy, they have totally destroyed Germans. If they continue like that and Spain doesn't change anything I can see Italy as the champions. |
