Today Depor Sport front page says "One of these 3". They are Saha, Uche and Arizmendi.
Out of the three, the odd guy for most of you is Angel Arizmendi as he is not well known even here in Spain. He is a 21 years old forward. Fast and tall (189cms), physically you can compare him to Makaay (I'll repeat the word physically). He barely plays for Atletico de Madrid as Torres and Kezman get all the minutes and he is not happy with that. Last season he was on loan to Racing de Santander and played 22 games scoring just 3 goals (I think Ruben had similar numbers in Albacete last sesason).

I'm not sold at all on this one because I think we already have a player like him in our roster (Xisco), but I guess Lendoiro got him as plan-B because he knows that luring Louis Saha to Riazor will be very very difficult.

By the way, after having read the paper, I have the feeling we can say Uche won't be our player, at least not this winter.

I don't like any of them. Saha & Uche too many expenses and we already have 2 or 3 Arizmendis?

The style of Depor Sport is interesting:

Firstly they published an article proclaming that the new coach will be choosen between a list of five candidates, Caparrós was among them. And we must remember that this happended even before Irureta announced his exit.

Secondly, during summer they say that the new striker would be choosen between a list of five candiates. Taborda was among them.

Now, they are using the same strategy, is this a new policy of Lendoiro? a subliminal message to us?

Taborda was the unknown surprise in the last list like Arizmendi this time. I think he'll be the new striker, the other ones are too expensive (If Duscher won't leave)

He played for the U-21 National team and scored some goals but didn't do anything special. If Depor buys Arizmendi, we will kill Xisco and Rivera... So a big NO to Arizmendi

Exactly. If he's not that special, let's give our own boys a chance. Uche seems a great candidate to me. He's young, eager, topscorer of the 2A and plays for a relatively small club...

i'm not really supporting this guy, but uche will be much more expensive.... i think it'll be a huge gamble spending more than €4 million for Uche...

No thanks he can stay there. If we buy a new striker, he must go directly to the starting eleven. We dont need half good striker we have plenty...tristan, taborda, ruben, rivera, senal and xisco.

I agree. Why buy a foward like Arizmendi when we have up and coming stars that are just like him, if not, better. And spending that kind of money on Uche would be plain stupid. He hasn;t proven himself to me just yet.
