A Coruña really is a nice city! And quite original in many ways... It's indeed a city that can surprise the visitor.
Actually, once in A Coruña I strongly recommend to take a train to the Galician capital, Santiago de Compostela. It's kinda fast and cheap. Now, when you got there and spend a few hours you'll tell me what you think...
A Coruña is for me the perfect "modern" city; the same applies for Compostela, but in this case it's the perfect "old" city...

Not a good result but a ok one, the group is too easy. I saw the whole Ukraine-Spain and Spain-Armenia matches and the reason why results weren't anything spectacular is Saez' bad tactics and player selection IMO. He constantly forgets that he's supposed to choose the best players, not the ones who he personally likes. Spain wouldn't have managed to draw most likely against Ukraine if Valerón and Tristan hadn't come in late in the game because the team was lacking creativity. Individual efforts decided both matches.

César, Valerón and Tristan all played well in both matches (well the weaker Marchena was perfered against Armenia and César didn't).
One interesting fact I noticed was that in the second match Raul kind of avoided passing to Tristan and lost the ball too often because of that, so much of the dream forward partnership of Spain...

We are second in our group, but we still have a chance of being first

lithuania is very small country, so i go to the qualifing matches that are played in Kaunas (about 200 km from my town), the stadium is very small (it's capacity is about 8000 seats) but still stadium isn't full often, so u can buy a ticket every day u want. in lithuania there were some bad years in our football history, when Lithuanian Football federation's president was very good man and football was almost dead our national played badly, clubs were very pour, but now he have new president, new coach of national team and u can see the result yourself, lithuanian clubs also are getting better, but still football isn't the most popular sport, but if lithuania will qualify for EURO 2004, i think football will be the sport number 1, i hope so.....

It is funny (not really) mariens, Australia had exactly the same problem, our president of football was very bad last year, and after we lost Vs Uruguay, SA (soccer Australia) almost collapsed because of debt, and then a new guy came in and we are better now - no longer in debt and we won against England!!!!! 3-1!!!! IN ENGLAND!!!

but the good guy has gone now and we now have a REALLY RICH guy - Bollionares!! running soccer, exept they don't know anything about soccer (football's name in australia) and we may go back to being bad again!!

If we make World Cup 2006 we will get stability if we didn't soccer in Australia would have died! thats why i love Sepp Blatter because he gave us the chance, and after 2006, he can take it away and it won't matter because we would survive, but he won't because Australia is very anxiouse to prove we deserve the spot in 2006!!

I think you are very lucky that you can go to the games mariens, and i will be hoping that Lithuania will qualify!!

I didn't but since Romania-Lithuania match I do. I've seen it and I'm looking forward to Lithuania vs Iceland.
