After defenders Adrian Lopez and Laure, Alex was given a professional contract at Deportivo.

That doesn't mean though that he'll be with the first squad this season, but at least indicates that Deportivo think he's valuable.

According to La Opinion he could be loaned out to Hércules this season.

Sinece I don't know who the new commers are in Primera. I will ask, which legaue Hércules will be playing in?

I am pretty sure he will be loaned out after seing him play yesterday... He does not look at all to be mentally ready to play yet.

Hercules play in Segunda. They will have a derby this coming season as Alicante gained promotion from Segunda B.

Any idea about how Alex is doing?

I have the feeling we will desperately need a dm in the next season. Sergio's DeGuzman's contracts expire and Tomas and JR aren't the best solution.

He usually plays as starter away from home and enters as replacement when Xerez plays at home. Very solid season but people who have seen him say that he still need time, maybe an additional year loaned at other club.

he is currently the player that has played the third most minutes for Xerez.. and in terms of out field players he is second.. and Aythami is just behind him..

And not just that. He's one of their best players. He's great at a Tomas-like role, where he fights and is able to pass the ball forward. Joins in on the attacks as well. He seems to be developing nicely.

From what I've seen, I think he's better than A Tomas. He involves himself much more offensively and is more solid defensively IMO. A shame we re-sign players like Sergio and ship him out.

actually it was quite gud IMO.. he is getting plenty of valuable minutes in primera which he may not had he stayed here..
