Default COPA - 02-01-2008 Deportivo 1v2 Espanol AET (Post Match Comments)

We took them into extra time but as usual, we couldn't hit the target from about 20 efforts.

I'm not too dissapointed to be out of the Copa but if we don't buy a striker we won't win any game.

From that perspective, I'm really dissapointed.

I was coming here to say the same.

I am not upset, because I knew this would happen

Exactly... once again we created countless ocassions.. but could not score...

Lendoiro please invest in a decent striker who can get us out of this mess.

Am gutted we lost.... but at the end of the day, we need to concentrate on the league..!

Perhaps it's to the better that we are out of the copa.. Then focus can be 100 % on the league.

If you ask me, I would prefer staying in the league rather than winning the copa!

does anyone really give a damm?
and lets be honest.
this is gonna keep happening over and over. Only luck will save us this season, and i think the next is gonna be even worse.
Everyone needs to get of their asses, and do it quick, from the city, lendoiro, lotina and the players

EDIT:cant wait to hear the after game comments from the coach and players.

the only words that came to my mind while I was watching the game were:

Listening to Radio Voz gets more and more boring because our results start to be very predictable. To be honest today I'm not as sad as (I think) I should be. I'm starting to be a pessimist when it comes to Depor, even if we play against a club like Levante. Today I was sure we'll lose. Any other case would be a surprise for me. It's a shame but that's a reality. Every Sunday evening, after a match I think: "I'm such an idiot again, wasting all the day and waiting impatiently for the game that almost always ends the same way - we play 'good' and we lose". I'm mad but next Sunday I do the same. Am I stupid, fond, loyal, childish or what? Maybe all in one.

EDIT. Damn, I hate this feeling!

Your a depor supporter, the finest thing there is, even though you in fact are also stupid, loyal, fond and childish. As are we all.

Yep. We played a good game, but couldn't convert the tons of chances we had... We need a proper striker.

Fortunately I went to the movies. Cause if I would've followed this game, I'd be frustrated as hell. Getting to extra time, and screwing it up because of some stupid counter. Hitting the post twice in that extra time, and having a clear penalty denied. I get pissed off just reading about it.

At least we played a good game. We need a striker, but I doubt if one will arrive. What's up with Adrian by the way? Is he injured or something? It's one of few forwards who didn't really get a lot of chances this year.
