Default Osasuna 4 - Deportivo 1 (Post Match Comments) Nov 26 2006

Another away game and another dissapointment.

Osasuna scored more than 2 goals for the first time this season in 19 games and although we scored a rare away goal, yet again we have failed to get anything from an opponent that we should really be expecting at least a point from.

Transition year or not, 4-1 at Osasuna is very hard to accept. It could be a long hard season.

Our last so hard lose was against Real (0:4)...next week we are playing at home against Racing...and it will be a must win match...if we won't beat Racing at Riazor we should fight to avoiding relegation zone...

Now we are in crisies:

vs Getafe 0-2
vs Barca 1-1
vs Nastic 0-0
vs celta 0-1
vs osasuna 1-4

Five matches 2 goals and 8 against. And 0 wins.

Welcome to mediocrity - or even worse?

Did we miss Lopo so much that we conceded 4 goals? Dejan84, any comments on that?

I honestly had no expectations before this game, but 4-1(!) is actually much worse than I ever could have feared. I'm ashamed!

But we scored a goal out of home It is optimistic...
we scored out of home in:
day 3 - against Betis - 1:1
day 6 - against Osa - 1:4

...now it will be day 12

i think this shows where the team is at, and thats nowhere, we dont have a working formation, a matter that should be sloved in the preseason and modified slightly during the year. We are in november and we dont have the first thing figured out. Playing Sergio is beyond me, playing MP is beyond me and frankly playing Riki is beyond me. This season will be very bad, if we pull a good second part we might be around 10th, europe is gone this year forget about that. I am begining to get concerened about the survival of the club, we got a shitload of debt. Not playing europe this year and next year and probably the year after, will cost us a lot of money, at least 20-30M a season. The debt will be there, we will not be ablo to buy big and finaly we will end like Oviedo or something. We need investement or we are gonna go under in the mid term not the long term. Things are bad, Capa needs to get his shit together, i understand that forming a young team is a hard task and that he needs to use meassures that might not be clear to the people outside the club. But i still think that we need a formation that is suitable for play in the league, that means playing players in their natural positon, i am talking about the wings and striking zone. There has been a lot of strange shifts. I am still positive as ever, but things need to change we need money, and thats up to Lendoiro, he needs to find a way to bring in more money and keep the clubs honor so we dont become a feeder club, that would be unacceptable! I am so sad that we are in a tight spot right now, with all the talent in south america and all over the world. If we only had money for some more 5-10M euro buys. Sad sad sad. We are gonna lose some more matches in the short term, but i hope we wake up after the new year
