Default Liga | Depor v Villarreal B | Jan 21 | pre-match comments (16h00 CET)

Last meeting in the first round, first time we play against Villarreal B. Good choice to extend the lead, but as always a hard match.

we used to beat villarreal A team home in the last couple of years, so this should be an easy game against a weak team in defense. with no surprises we will this game.

List of picked players:
Aranzubia, Lux
Laure, Colotto, Ze Castro, Ayoze, Seoane.
Alex Bergantiños, Juan Dominguez, Borja, Bruno Gama, Guardado, Salomão, Saul, Valeron.
Lassad, Riki, Xisco.

No CB on the bench, but I guess Borja could play there if it was needed.

I think that if one of the centre backs gets injured or sent off, whoever is left back will come into the centre with Guardado slotting back into the LB position.

I much prefer Guardado in a more attacking role but think he's filled in there a few times before.

They've got a defense where nobody is older than 22 and a central midfield composed of two players from their C team. We're at home. They are awful on the road. They don't have their best striker. I'm always happy for a win no matter how it happens, but there's no reason why this shouldn't be an easy one for us. Anything less and I think we'll all be disappointed.
