Happy with the performance, but we need results

Torres seems to be better and is staying overnight at the hospital.

Good point, we were better but they are very sharp , they would have eventually scored a goal or more, Lux made a mistake but saved a very dangerous one

1- Great intensity
2- Fajr is not a winger (how many freaking coaches do we need to realize that), but his quality allows him to play anywhere I guess
3- Mosquera and Borges did well, but can definitely do better. Guilherme is a little better
4- If Andone stays with us (and doesn't go somewhere where he will be a sub), he can become a mini Luis Suarez.

After they were reduced to 10 men we stopped playing out of some sort of guilt.

We played well yesterday, especially Andone, Mosquera and Sidnei were really good.. good comeback by Fajr but unfortunately he is playing at the wrong position..
there was a real boost in the players' spirits and it was evident from minute 15.. even though I didn't like the defensive substitutions our attack still looked potent..

edit: There were whistles when Torres was down as if he was faking an injury while many of the players were on the verge of crying.. I sure hope that it wasn't from Riazor Blues 'cos then they wouldn't be much different from other ultras..

we know the Jimmy-story. like it or not, the RB are radicals. actually they expressed their careless feelings towards Torres, and the other part of the stadium whistled them out...

if they have really done this, I can't believe that every story coming out against them are false..

for sure this could end up in an interesting forum-talk.
of course they are not innocent guys there. but they are not killers either. singing jokish songs on/against Pepe/Neymar/Gabi/Godin? a must for me. singing a jokish (intented to be) song on/against an injured Nino Torres/Ramos/Mascherano? acceptable for me, but I admit it is not too nice. singing anything against Iniesta or Raul? I could never understand it.

Really? All of our players played with intensity, we could have scored 3 and if Lux was not so far off his line, would have saved their goal. I would say that was a pretty positive night for us performance wise.

1) The Team and the crowd responded to the new Manager, which was great to see and hear.
2) Luisinho covered a lot of ground and made some vital tackles, but he left too much space at the back, countless times they were able to make crosses from his side, unchallenged.
3) No Marlos, no John and Kakuta can only last 35 mins before being out of gas. That is a worry for us!
4) Very good performances from Mosquera and Andone. If Andone had a bit of support up front, there would have been more goals for us.
5) I also think the substitutions were too defensive, I would have brought on Gil at some stage. He is good at keeping the ball and can also provide assists.
6) We need to build on this and go on to beat Gijon. If we can do that and build some momentum, survival will be more achievable.

I saw the first 10 minutes, turned it off, turned it on again just to see our (lucky) goal, i saw their (great) goal and the last 20 minutes completely.
Unless something was very different in the minutes that i didn't watch, this was shabolic. I saw so many things wrong and nothing much right that going into detail would require a 30 minutes podcast ...
