Canella is a left back. He is good, but do we really need a new full back? Manny is continuing, Seoane and Laure are staying and Luisinho should slot back to his natural position. We need game wining wingers, playmakers and a solid CM primaraly. We have 0 wingers if Sissoko goes, and hopefully Nunez, Ariz and Rabello go aswell. Playmaker: JuanCarlos, whom FV doesn't like.

Really we need 4-5 players to cover this positions, it's almost like the last pre-season is repeating.

Why will want just a loan without a buy option as for me I like the offer of sporting deal with a buying option.

Deportivo want the player, loaned with a buyout option, but optional. It means Depor will decide if they buy or not the player at the end of the season.

Sporting want a fixed buyout option, it means the option will be executed yes or yes. So it isn't an "option" after all, but an obligation.

Market news: Newspaper El Comercio reports that Depor and Sporting already reached an agreement for Roberto Canella. The left-back would arrive loaned* with Depor having a buyout option (not revealed yet)

FV said he wanted a squad of 18 players, to have quality over quantity. Well, it seems players like Manuel Pablo and Alex will be part of the team, among others. That's a pretty depressing thought to me.

Geijo could've been a good transfer for us last summer, since we simply needed another striker, and he would've come for free. We didn't get him, and he failed miserably at Mallorca, in Segunda. And now FV is saying he still wants Geijo, for Primera.

Quality over quantity my ass. Even for the bench these players aren't good enough for Primera.
