i know it is very early to discuss such topic but just because I am very excited for the new upcoming season with us in Primera with the leadership of Victor Del Amo

players will be leaving the club after ending their loan but perhaps with a little bit of effort we can keep some of them for the new season.


So who do you want to stay or Leave and why ?

Out: Canella, Borja Lopez, Wilk, Cuenca, Jose Rodriguez, Farina, Costa, Postiga - all underperformed and cost us a lof of money.

My untouchables are: Fabri, Sidnei, Luisinho, Insua, Lucas & Cavalerio.

for me four players are very important to keep

Lucas Perez, Sidnie, Fabricio and Saolmao

it is noticiable from the last 4 games the importance of Lucas in the team, he alongside Laure and Fabricio have the Spirit of Deportivo.

Saomao is very excellent back up for the validity he brings
sidnei brings experience and rush

I don't share that observation about lucas in the last four games. he had spirit but not a great one. Laure was waaaaaay more exemplary

what would be useful for this thread would be for someone to remind who which ones have contracts and which ones are loans/ending contract. thanks

As for me I will like us to keep (Luisinho,Fabricio,M Pablo,Lauren,Juanfran,Lucas perez,Solomao,Borges,Haris,Alex,Riera,Toche,james Rodriquez,Sidnei,Lopo

Our defense is what worries me most. We need to keep Fabricio at all costs. Luisinho is ours, so that's fine. But the rest of our defense... If we want to be a mid-table team next year, then we need a strong, experienced defender to replace Sidnei. And to be fair, we could be needing a second starting central defender as well. Lopo finished the season in a great way, but we can't forget that he was very poor in the rest of the season. I was hoping Insua would adapt to Primera Division quickly, but I'm not too sure of him anymore. Would be great to have Lopo and Insua on the bench, but as starters? Not too sure about Laure and Juanfran as starters on the other wing either.

I hope Wilk stays, and that he finally gets to play instead of Alex. Aside from that, we have Borges, Medunjanin, Juando,... In theory, these can be great for a mid-table Primera team. Getting Oriol Riera on a definitive transfer should be a priority as well, especially with Wigan getting relegated to third division. I hope we can keep Lucas too. Salomao would be great to have as well, if he could finally be spared from injuries... which I doubt.

In any case, this time we have a Primera team as a starting point, and we'll be having a normal pre-season. I'm confident Tino and his team will have learned from last year's mistakes.

I'm not entirely sold on Juando either. If we can renew on a cheap contract, I say go for it. That said, I dont think he has the quality to take this club forward. I'm sorry

IN: Fabricio (pretty sure he'll be at another club in September but whatever), Salomao, Luisinho, Laure, Lucas, Sidnei, Cavaliero (I highly doubt these two players will stay).

I'd love to see us blood some young players next season though. Can someone enlighten me on the Bicho situation?

He has one more loan season to go at Barca B. With the embargo over them, I'm not sure we could bring him back, even if Barca allowed it.

Maybe we'll see an article soon of how our loaned out players fared throughout the season?

unfortunately, I agree with you about JD - as much and all as I really want him to succeed with us.

Tbh, if I had the choice and the money, the only players I'd keep are:

Starters: Fabricio, Luisinho and maybe Laure (can't think of another RB in Primera that I'd have before him).
Squad: Lopo, Insua, Juanfran (unlikely, as he'll go to Watford), Borges, Lucas, Cavaleiro, Riera
Promoted: Cardoso (?)

Of the players who do not have a contract with us next season, I would like to keep:

Fabricio, Sidnei, Wilk, Lucas and Riera

It remains to be seen if Saul, Lemos, Luis and Teles will be given opportunities.

But it would be nice to see 3 or 4 good solid permanent signings this summer.

Am so happy and relieved that we managed to stay up ..

You know what... I just love the fact all the forum members have ENERGY again... a type of energy that comes from a really happy moment.
