World Football For other football that's not related to Depor. For example: the Primera División, Segunda División A, Segunda División B, the Champions League, EURO 2008, the World Cup 2010, Italy, England, Germany, Turkey etc. |

![]() Is the league of Uruguay really 'amateurish' as I've just read? For the first time a team not from Montevideo has been crowned champions: Rocha, with a monthly budget of 13.000 Euro??? The match on the final day between Colonia and Paysandú only attracted 8(!!) paying visitors??

Leon this is Latin America! what were you expecting? As example the current champion in El Salvador is Vista Hermosa: http://www.terra.com.sv/deportes/art.../dep140661.htm A club that won the title in Segunda on June of the present year (it was their first time in Primera) Now, their budget is something like $100,000 per year, hey you can pay it with Juanma's salary!!!!! And you know what kind of celebration was made by the club's officials? a $5.95 dinner in Pollo Campero (a place like Kentucky Fried Chicken- KFC) ![]()

![]() Did did get a 'menu' or just the 'burger' without extras?
![]() Still I imagined something more of the Uruguayan League. How much visitors do Nacional and Penarol attract on average? 10.000? 20.000? |
