Flying high Montpellier

They're leading the table, along with Lyon, both with 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.

Montpellier promoted from 2nd division last season, in the last minute, after beating in the last game Strasbourg, and replace them in the 3rd place.

Our captain Emir Spahic is having great season with Montpellier so far.

Shocking home defeat for Lyon against Sochaux (0-2), they shit their pants when they saw Dirty Harry

Clint Eastwood. He was Lyon's special guest that night, he took the starting kick.

Kiddo Pjanic scored lovely goal against Marseille tonight!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ_zL...layer_embedded

Match is still on (85') and the current score is 4-4!

Bastos scored the winner for Lyon! 5-4!
Ok, obviously it wasn't a winner as Toulalan scored an own goal in the last moments of the match!!!
I wish I watched this match!
FT 5-5!

The Marseille-PSG traditional derby, that had been postoponed due to the H1N1 affecting PSG players, is about to start...

for those interested

Edit: FT Marseille-PSG 1-0. Boring game, but deserved win for Marseille

Ligue 1, (though not popular round here ) keeps on as one of the most interesting top European ligas.

Bordeaux lost at home to Valenciennes (0-1), Lyon got only one point against Grenoble (Grenoble had just 1 point in 12 games so far) and as a result, flying high Auxerre is the leader in the Ligue after winning Monaco 2-0

Btw, check in the first post, where Auxerre was, 7 games back!
