Lucas could have gone to a significantly better team and be playing in Europe. But he chose to return.

I honestly think he'll be the reason why I'll be tuning in every week with real optimism and excitement, and I'll definitely be in Spain for at least one match this year. This was the only thing I wanted for this window. So incredibly thrilled, let's go out and have a start to the season similar to two years ago.

100% agree. No amount of money (even a loan option with no buy-out clause) is too much to see Lucas return. In simple maths, he keeps us up and pays his way 300%+. And I'm like you, this will mean I'm more engaged with the team this season. Sure, we'll still have down times, but with Lucas anything is possible!

After last season, where he should have been playing in front of a few players who got consistent minutes, I hope we are getting a Lucas with a big chip on his shoulder who wants to show how good he is.

Unrelated, but I also wouldn't be surprised if one of Alexis Sanchez's legs fell off.

I will have to disagree on this. If Pepe is playing with 2 strikers, he definitely needs two more on the bench. Letting Borja leave is like only keeping 3 centre midfielders on the team, which is clearly impossible.

Adrian will have his chances. Having Lucas in the team makes me want to jump to the sky - nothing is done, but the prospects have increased immensly.

Pepe can now use the 4-4-2 as an alternative - he has 3 strikers + Colak a playmaker that can act as a "2" in the defensive positioning system. We have 5 side offensive players and 4 central midfielders.
We are in a good position, poses quality and have players for the coaches liking - no excuses now.

In the end the little guy was with Lucas when he arrived to Coruna. What a great story! We can have different definition for a legend, but the impact he has is unquestionable.

Welcome back Lucas I don't think this is a bad thing for Adrian to be honnest might even be a good thing to feed of Lucas his energy in the game.
