Default Ex-Player topic: Lassad (born 1985, Attacker, now at Levante)

I think this guy deserves to have his own thread. He has already entered twice this season and performed quite good, he was very close to score against Villarreal and won a penalty against Mallorca. He is not that young anymore so maybe it's time to invest in him instead of buying players like Mista?

Completely agree. If only we had a couple of guys like him who can step up from B team and earn his place in the senior squad. He still needs time though...

Good luck Lassad !

He deserves to play again, and again. Maybe not full matches yet, but he should get 15 minutes at least in every match (if there's a chance).

All the best to him!

The issue is that we can't really give Mista 1-2 years to 'adapt', with his skills and player history. If Lassad already is bringing the same, or even more, it might be a could idea to place Lassa higher in he pickin order than Mista.

The guy certainly has potential, but I hope he scores his first goal soon. Otherwise he'll be getting pretty nervous. He missed a huge chance against Villarreal, and also should've done better with a big chance he got against Mallorca today.

I'm not going to give him credit for winning us a penalty today, as that wasn't a penalty at all. People insult Riki for diving all the time, so I think it's a bit strange many people are giving Lassad credit for this.

Totally agree!
Anw it's too soon to judge him! We're only known him from his scoring record in the Segunda B.
Even Aridane (if i'm no wrong) scored a goal with the first team...

I guess you're. I remember Carril scoring a goal in the first team and Juan Dominguez too, but not Aridane.

I've been reliably informed by someone who has seen him play regularly that this guy will definitely make it for us and if he's good enough, he's old enough now for the first team squad. Throw him in at the deep and let's see how good a swimmer he is.

Watch out because his contract ends in June, though we have a clause to renew him.

hope we get to renew his contract, he seems to have talent and we should be placing him up the picking order for matches.

Mista for me hasnt done anything brilliant with his history so i guess we should give the "new boy" a chance
