I've missed the game, but as the newspapers wrote about Depor, there was nothing to lose...

Relegation zone, it was a long time we didn't stop here

Goal ~ we need goal but we can't create
We even have got 2 goals from penalty since the liga starting? It's unbelievable. We must find a way to solve this problem or we may suffer the risk highly than we suffered in the season 06/07

Is anyone a big fan of a team who is constantly in the relegation scrap? What are the seasons like? Fun? Enjoyable?

i agree guardado was ok but way to ego!! depor had possibilities to overlap each attack but guardado dribbled and lost the ball instead

I just got back last nite from La Coruna, I was at the game on sunday, below are my player ratings for the Almeria game:

Manu: 5 - looks small, and very uncomfortable with crosses and high balls.
M.Pablo: 6 - Was involved, but is slower and his crossing was shocking.
Lopo: 6 - Only lasted 45 mins
Colotto: 5 - Lasted even less, gave away a silly penalty
Rinda: 3 - This guy looks terrible. His possitioning is poor, he looks scared, and his crossing was also very bad. (bring back Morel).
R.Perez: 7.5 - our best player by far. He is composed on the ball, buys us time in midfield, our own Xabi Alonso.
Juanro: 6 - physical presence, but did not impress me
Desmarets: 6 - lost the ball a couple of times, but should not have been subbed, was one of the few players to attack the opposition.
Lassad: 5 - looks like he's playing on the beach, no urgency to his play.
Guardado: 7 - Did not impress me, but was 1 of our better players because he did not stop running the whole game.
Adrian: 6 - This guy has the ability, but needs someone to play with him upfront, did not get the service he requires. It also seems that he is not that direct, on 1 ocassion he could have had a 1 on 1 with the keeper, but decided to pass backwards instead - not good!

Subs:
Ze Castro: 7 - I thought he looked composed on the ball and was able to link play from defense to midfield.
Valeron: 6.5 - Smooth operator - but at 0-2 and with Almeria defending hard, he did not have the space, or the players around him to make a real impact.
Dioni: 6.5 - only had 10 mins or so, but he ran and put pressure on the Almeria defenders.

Well.. my first visit to Riazor after over 3 years, and it was a really poor performance from us. We obviously need people like Aranzubia, Riki, Urreta, Michel, Morel.. to get us out of this mess.
On A good note: Ruben Perez is gonna be a great player for us over the next 2 seasons if he stays injury free.

Riazor blues: An amazing section of fans who did not stop singing, chanting and animating for the whole game, its a shame the rest of the crowd did not follow their example... but its partly understandable, considering we lost 0-2 to Almeria at home..!

nice one Ricardo

I also like Ruben Perez quite a bit. very composed like you said, the perfect counter-balance to players like guardado who are also very good but sometimes get stuck in panic/urgency mode.
