Default Spanish Clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia etc.)

how do you guys think about Real?
my opinion is that it isn't a real team they have too much individual players they have great class players but they screw up so much. then on the otherhand you have soceidad, valencia and depor, two real teams that don't only have individual class.

RM's superstars make the team look so arrogant. I only ever watch them to see Zizou. Other than that Carlos, Ronaldo and Figo scream arrogance and I'm sick of hearing about all that galactic crap. Too much individual skill can be a drawback if you can't fit everyone in and work together. It unbalances the team.

The Maestro i ment is that depor didn't need all that individual class to win. i know that makaay valeron Tristan and luque are great players but they also know how to play as a team.

That's the BIG difference between teams like Real Madrid and Deportivo... If you like the glamour, class and individual skills you like Madrid... but if you like the teamspirit, underdog atmosphere with an individual flavour you like Deportivo.... Except Valerón, Makaay and Tristán not many people will know about players of Deportivo...

Fortunately Depor players have plenty of class and individual skills, right now they lack team spirit

But the biggest problem of Real Madrid IMO isn't the individual superstars. They fit in nicely together. They have a one-lineup team though. If one of their valuable players gets injured (even Michel Salgado or Hierro who are criticised), they're in deep trouble. The bench players like Flavio, Cambiasso, Macca, etc I feel are just terrible especially when feeling the pressure of playing for the world's best team. Cambiasso will develop into a good player I think but Flavio is just ridiculous to watch

oh yes! Lendoiro is still laughing about the Flavio affair!
3.000 million pesetas (that's a lot of euros) for that guy...
Spanish press still remembers it every now and then...

We should sell more players for such prices. But that was Sanz's decision, not Perez's, right? Otherwise we should circulate rumours that Ivan Perez is Florentino's secret son looking for a new club for €20M

Flávio Conceiçao is a Brazilian midfielder currently at Real Madrid... we took him out of Brazil in december 1996 and sold him to Madrid in 2000 for a lot of money....
