Default La Liga | Getafe v Deportivo | 07.11.2009 | 18:00 | Pre-match comments

History:

2004-2005 ==> GETAFE 1 - DEPOR 1
2005-2006 ==> GETAFE 1 - DEPOR 2
2006-2007 ==> GETAFE 2 - DEPOR 0
2007-2008 ==> GETAFE 0 - DEPOR 0
2008-2009 ==> GETAFE 1 - DEPOR 2

Getafe is a place where we usually get good results. Adding the massive support by rcdlc.com/forum members, we could be optimistic about this one

If we play like we did yesterday, and if Getafe plays like they did against Real, then we have a great chance of winning this. Anyway, I expect a tie. I just hope we don't fall out of the European zone too soon, if we have to play catch-up for the rest of the season, I don't see us accomplishing much.

Im glad Lotina is sticking with the same line up for this game.
We created a few chances last game. If we can put them away this time round and the ref doesn't filth us again we should win this one.

Change of plans!

Lassad is a last-minute casualty for a new hamstring injury and his place in the lineup will be taken by... Mista!

List for the game: Aranzubia, Manu, Laure, Manuel Pablo, Lopo, Zé Castro, Colotto, Filipe, Juan Rodríguez, Sergio, Antonio Tomás, Pablo Álvarez, Guardado, Valerón, Bodipo, Riki, Adrián López and Mista.

Lineup:

Should I wish an open, entertaining match to mates here, who are gonna watch this live? that kind of matches we used to lose... OR should I wish a boring 1-0 away win? I wish you: enjoy yourself! And I don't wanna here anything good about you

may be it is correct to bench Adrian 'cos he cud be better as a sub.. also Mista cud be useful in making gud passes, although he have not shown much so far.. but Ivan Perez instead of Bodipo wud have given been better IMO..

This is the first match I will be able to watch this season as I finally have an internet connection in my new home after a horrible 11 weeks just checking results and news

So, can anyone tell me, what does the system we've been playing for the last matches actually look like? Is it a 4-2-3-1 with Lassad/Mista in the playmaking role or does it more reflect a 4-3-3, or a 4-4-2? I've read different things in the papers about it. And all of them would be possible with those 11 players on the field.

We have been switching between 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1, against Sevilla we played with Juan Rodriguez at the centre and with Sergio and Antonio tomas at the sides. In the last two games we played 4-2-3-1, with Juan Rodriguez at the right wing. Now it's more like a 4-4-2, with Mista and Riki in attack and keeping Rodriguez at the right.

I like Lotina's more offensive approach for this game. It could blow up in our faces, but I like it

I don't see what's so bad about Mista in the line-up, he deserves another chance. And he can't be worse in terms of finishing than Lassad.
