World Football For other football that's not related to Depor. For example: the Primera División, Segunda División A, Segunda División B, the Champions League, EURO 2008, the World Cup 2010, Italy, England, Germany, Turkey etc. |

![]() Looking at that table, i wonder why the English are always complaining so hard about RM/barca incomes while they have almost the same (and many more teams have that) while they still cant compete!
Think i answered my own question ![]() |

![]() Anderlecht is still doing what it does best: missing penalties. In fact, they broke another record today.
The ref gave them three penalties today, at home to KV Mechelen, and Anderlecht missed all three of them ![]() Then after the game, Anderlecht's classy coach somehow had the guts to insult Mechelen's keeper. It's hilarious how until about 8 years ago, the amazingly incompetent Anderlecht manager would fire an excellent coach just because they lost twice in a row. Finally, he realised that wasn't a good strategy, and ever since he hardly ever fires a coach anymore. Interestingly, as soon as he made that change, he started hiring the most incompetent coaches imaginable, who SHOULD be fired. So basically, at first he was firing good coaches for no reason, and then he sticks to the same terrible coaches for years before finally firing them. And with all of these poor coaches, it's hardly a surprise they would end up doing a terrible job. Why these guys get hired in the first place is a mystery as well. It's fascinating how one terrible manager can run a club so deep into the ground for so many years, without anyone really opposing him. Their budget is twice as big as his main opponents, their youth academy is amazing,... but he destroys it all. Then he pats himself on the back for winning the league 50% of the times... Considering their budget, they should be winning the league 100% of the times.

They sacked him after just a month or two, and now they managed to get a good coach, but he's still struggling to put Standard back on track. Not to mention the fans who are booing their own players since the first matchday. I'm sure they'll end up finishing the season comfortable in mid-table, and perhaps even reaching Europe thanks to our brilliant play-off system. Which, by the way, will be getting even more horrendous next year, but it's just too much to explain. Basically the bottom first division teams will get mixed with the top second division teams after the winter break. The bottom second division teams will play their own league. Which seems extremely useless, as it won't be possible anymore to get relegated from second division. Third division and onwards, from now on, will be the amateur leagues. So unfortunately, for all the ambitious teams in the lower divisions right now... There is no escape anymore, as you can't get promoted beyond third division.

![]() thanks for the info.
at us, the primera clubs who were sent down to tercera and regional leagues in summer, reacted on different way. Yesterday, Nyíregyháza who went to CAS, as they were sent down to tercera for a 10.000 EUR disputed debts towards a player, who hardly ever played for them, so Nyíregyháza from tercera knocked out Vasas from Primera in the Copa del Orbán. Nyíregyháza kept their team together, and they lead the tercera East easily. I consider them as a primera team. My club, ETO, lost some 17 primera players, our team-captain, who never played elsewhere just for us, joined our eternal enemy... Now we play with the wonder-idea of talented U-20 home-grown players and some oldies from the region. Well, we are third behind our eternal enemy's and Ferencváros' second or B team, as our talented U-20 home-grown players are not talented and dedicated enough... Pécs and Kecskemét did not take the offer of the FA, and they went even lower than tercera, they play in regional first (which is fourth totally) with different success. The club at Pápa collapsed, now a new club in the city plays at fifth level.
