i never stood still by this earlier, but:
Babel was earning 110,000 euros at Depor for five months, no he will earn 850,000 for five months at Besiktas.

I dont know if that's before or after tax, but couldnt we (almost) match that amount, knowing that there was no transfer fee involved? We could offer him a 2-year contract with a buy-out that covers the whole thing.

If I recall, the number floating around was 2.5 million euros per year for 2 years. It sucks that 2.5 million is out of our price range at the moment.

It is not certain that he would keep playing as good as he has been these last two months. Some times people play better when they have something to prove... I think we should appreciate the points he helped to achieve and wish him all the best.

Facts:
-His agent did not even sit with Depor to negotiate, this is what Barral said this week, the agent refused to sit!!!.
-Babel cares too much a bout money and luxurious life, this is his personality, I said this when he joined us.
-Depor cant pay 2.5 Million a year for any player, if iam not wrong Lucas was taking 1.0 Million in his last contract with us.
-With the money he is offered at Beskatis , we cant blame him.

scored 5 goals for Fulham within half a season in Premier League, also returned to the Dutch national team. it seems Galata contracted him for the next season.
