Not surprising at all. And that's the worst part.

Ok, yes its Carmelo's fault for bringing in Anquela and its Carmelo's fault that we don't have the strongest of squads. And its probably the fault of Zas that Carmelo had such limited funds to construct the squad.

Question is where to start with improving this, and IMO we need a better coach. I know it hasn't been easy for him, but he has had time to implement his ideas. The Team look like they have no plan A or Plan B on the pitch, and none of them are performing at a high level.

We are struggling for creativity in midfield, and he continues using the same players who are not performing.

I understand that Kone was out, but why not give a start to Beto or Sasa?
Gaku has been pretty awful so far, so why not give Gandoy some minutes.

We've been waiting for weeks for the return of Peru from his operation, and Anquela keeps him on the bench for 66 mins.

These are things that I blame on Anquela, we need new direction!
Invest in a Good coach, improve performances and results, and come January we can strengthen again. This is how Carmelo needs to be thinking!

how many are going down at the end of the season in this division?
Oviedo is the clear worst one and won't survive. Extramadura is edgy worse then us, but than there are 2-3 teams on the same level atm while all the rest is better. In case 4 go down, i would be very worried.

Our strategy is no changing year after year and there is no "lessons learned" at this club. We rely on old glory and where Depor belongs beautiful speeches and interviews with players and bla-bla, but the truth is that this Depor doesn't belong anywhere.
Deportivo is sick and we are no even close to finding the right "pill" that can cure us.
