Default Player topic: Sulley Muntari (1984, Midfielder)

Full name Suleyman Ali Muntari
Date of birth 27 August 1984
Place of birth Konongo, Ashanti, Ghana
Height 1.79 m (5 ft 10 1⁄2 in)
Playing position Midfielder

He joins on trial and will be inscribed if it is successful. We badly need a good central midfielder, may be Muntari can give us a glimpse of what he used to be.

He is 33, actually. Yes, he could be only a short term solution, but right now we have to grap every possible options keep the club in Primera. As far as I remeber Babel was in the same condition (almost a year without professional football) and then he became our boost in attack. Let's see what he is got.

Atleast he can put pressure on the other midfielders and in that way encourage them to at least start running and fighting

He could be a good addition for a short term, this reminds me of Paulo Assuncao’s signing back in 2012 but hope this time it ends in a better way...

if he is close to his best old days then welcome to our club. It's good to see more competition in that area where we are failing

Muntari can be a good solution for us.

The most important thing is Seedorf and Muntari knows each other well. They played together on the field and later Seedorf coached him.

I think he is a good professional, defending African players against racism.

I don't think he's solution for our problems but at least he's better than what we have so I hope he brings miracle with him

He's just signed a contract till June 2018, with an option for a further year.

Even if he plays just 10 games and we win 7, it will have been worth it.
