Okey this might seem critical since we won but we really sucked. Who ever said that valeron was the man of the match is wrong, though he was better than usual, meaning only a little bad. The second half was a disaster, we showed absolutley no ambition or illusion.

I feel sorry for Taborda since this wasnt his sort of game. I really question caparos subs, he should have taken ruben instead of taborda, de guzman or carril instead of romero and the other one instead of scaloni.

About ratings all the defensive line got 7 but capdevila (6), he was overrun by jesus navas all the time. every midfielder except victor(6) and munitis(8) got 5 the really let every thing past them only juanma(8) and molina(8) held us up. Tristan(6) was poor except his penalty.

The only players that showed ambition in the second half were Munitis, taborda, juanma and molina. The rest of the team really has to work with it untill the Cadiz game, otherwise i dont see how we could win it...

I'll do my ratings clearly here:

Molina 8
Manuel Pablo 7
Andrade 7
Juanma 8
Capdevila 6 ( but 7 offensively)
Sergio 5
Duscher 5
Victor 7 (only cause of the goal)
Munitis 8 (our man of the match)
Valeron 6
Tristan 6

Subs
Taborda 6
romero 7
scaloni 6

PS. Victors goal was one of the greatest this season!!!

The goal of Victor is one of the best things that happened this season. I think Depor needs to improve image, and play a more pleasant style of football. So Victor's goal comes very well at this moment.

I starting to get the impression that Tristan is only starting so that he can maintain some sort of market value when we try to sell him in the summer- we'll see...

Clearly Ruben should have participated in this match

Great result and these 3 points were very welcome.

I understand critics here, but let my remind once more that we cannot expect from this team to outplay Sevilla on their own pitch. Besides, Capa tries to build on defensive security so it's not strange we don't go on an all-out-attack not even after we're against 10 men. We know from many examples that 10 men usually all start to work harder while the opposite side usually relaxes a bit. I don't think a player sent-off makes a lot of difference. Depor have won enough games with one man down.

It's no coincedence we share our away record with Villarreal and only Barcelona does better (Spain's best teams of the past year). Depor have a strong basis and sometimes we have some luck, like yesterday, and sometimes we don't, as us failing too many opportunities during other matches.

The points is, and I tried to make that one also in the match preview, that Depor is at their best this season when there isn't too much expectation and the opposite team has to make the game. As I said back then, I expect a more difficult match against Cadiz.

Great result, poor performance. What a pity Taborda missed a penalty kick Molina and Valeron were brilliant!

P.S: Oh yeah, by the way, any pics from the match guys?

A important victory. We have a very good back-line, I cant see Coloccini take back his place. The worst player of the match was Sergio, (tristan is always the worst, but except him) he cant controll the ball. Im locking forward to the next game!

yea we won !

but im not satisfied with our play /= it seemed like we was playing like we was 9 men vs 11..
2 penatlies missed!
sevilla was atacking us all the time...instead of defending with all players on our on half we should try to score more..we we're really lucky to win this one i wouldnt have benn surprised if sevilla came back from 2-0 to 3-2..anyway the referee "helped" us this game..atlast..giving a red card at the 1st penalty ..well.. i dont think the player deserved it..anyway the point is that we got home with 3 important points! I hope we will play 90 minutes in the next match as we played vs sevilla in the first 10 min ..this was a good birthday "present"
