he clearly stated he wanted to stay but the club couldn't afford his salary...

why to lie about this?

If DelPozo says that we don't have money for Luisinho, but we have for Dubarbier, that wouldn't sound so good because it makes obvious we're going for a cheaper/worse alternative...and it's not that we can't afford Filipe Luis or Guardado...this is Luisinho...

Tino said we wouldn't pay any clause for the coach, but Natxo had a 100,000 clause that has been paid this Monday. Who paid that money then? Do we really think it was Natxo with his own money?

Tino had also said that we wouldn't pay money for the sporting director, but Carmelo had a 100,000 clause. Who paid that money then? Do we really think it was Carmelo with his own money?

The problem is not only paying clauses when you we're struggling to keep players for their salary, but doing it after saying that you wouldn't.

so we got paid, I don't see why Huesca or similar clubs won't pay 500,000 for him.

I don't understand Spanish and trusting your word, Tino is lying and twisting information as he likes. but this all depends on what he said and how he said it, did he mention "we saved 8 million" or "we gained 8 million"!!
Asked about the 8M, if it was 6M for Andone, 1,5M for Çolak and 0,5M for Luisinho, or how was that money divided, Carmelo confirmed that 8M was not the exact amount, that those numbers were wrong (curiously Tino was there also present and didn't deny it).

Asked if we had received 500,000 for Luisinho then, or what amount, as he had said that Luisinho leaving was a profit for both parts, Carmelo said it was beneficial for both parts, but not because we receive money from him but because of the money we save from his salary, which was higher than Dubarbier. So he confirmed that the profit for us is the money we save from his salary, not money received for him. Again, Tino was just there and didn't deny or explain anything else...

Here you have the moment of the question:

I can't understand all the lies around transfer fees and clauses paid... I don't know the law in Spain. But in most countries, public "companies" are forced by law to disclose such transactions in a clear way to share holders. Even if it's not public, paying a 100.000€ clause is not something that a club should be able to do without it ending in the annual balance

The idea that playing with these numbers and getting away with it is just sick

my favorite case was Lafita, although I can't remember properly. I think he went back to Zaragoza from us, and we wanted the Aragons to pay us a 2 million EUR fee according to the contract we had with them after he arrived from there to us. They did not want to pay, as reportedly we did not give an invoice them. As far as I remember, Lendoiro complained, that they should have paid by any chance and then we might give an invoice for 2 million EUR.
Can you imagine that book-keeping, where it is normal that we don't write invoices for 2 million EUR.

But it is not something Spanish, welcome in the world of football (Parma, Fiorentina, Portsmouth, 1860 München, Grazer AK, endless).

Wow. He was unlucky with his sporting decisions, but it looks like he is a nince person. In these times it is really important to be united and fight for the common goal.
After last year and this second round the fans were divided. I just hope the next president can change the current picture.

Well, Tino changed everything (except himself) and it didn't work. So this is inevitable. Lendo has been at all of the games recently...

all the best to Tino F. in the information technology industry or wherever!

I hope Lendoiro is not coming back.

Actually I'm shocked. There were no sign that the presidency are planning to quit.
The Riazor and the public have something to do with the resignation. I think the constant whistling and protestation against Tino put the lid on it. I only hope its the begining of a ressurection and not the end of our beloved club.
