Default Deportivo v Español Copa S-F 2nd Leg (Post match comments)

I don't even want to say much about this game. I just wish I could believe that the players felt half the dissapointment that lots of us fans do. You have to wonder if they're just glad that they'll pick up their wages anyway.

I dont know what we can do. We dont score - and when we do , we shift off in defence.

i think is was wrong not to play Tristan. he is the top scorer with 11 goals and Ruben with 8 not in the squad i can only presume he was injured.

This is ridiculous! We can't score a single goal!

Sounds outrageous, but i think there is a positive aspect. This year is disastrous. If we would have won the copa then Lendoiro would consider this as a succesfull year and continue in this way.
Now its clear that this is a lost year (even though i doubt if Lendoiro is going to improve sth, buying players etc...)

We just lack quality, especially on midfield. All those complaints about Valeron's performance the last two year just fade away if you see today's midfield. Mauro, Fran, Valeron.. I miss them

Too bad Xisco missed that opportunity in the end.. Thanks Tristán for at least one intelligent pass.

Come ooon, after 27 match days + Copa til Semi Final and only 11 GOALS?? This you call a top striker??
Sorry, this doesn't impress me and it doesn't help us in any stinking way, I would expect us to have midfielders scoring this much after so many games... and how many of the 11 were penalties??

Accept it: WE GOT NO WORKING STRIKERS at the mo.... Arizmendi, Xisco, Ruben are all still not mature enough and Tristan is seeking for a new goalless minutes record only...

But do we have a decent midfield? For our midfield 11 goals is good. Arizmendi's 1 (because of a goalkeeper mistake) is not good.
