I'd like to know, whether anyone has played FIFA Manager this year? How is it?

AAAAAAAARGH! I can run it! My laptop freezes every time i try to run it!
First I chose during installation that steam thing and now I can't change it when I try to install it again... But Ok, when I install it with that steam thing I can't run it because it asks for that code... OK, then I install some patch that is needed, and then crack it but it FREEZEEEEEEEEEES!!
Anyone had similar problem, or maybe knows how to solve this?

The thing is you have to run by telephone to make the crack work, as far as I remember.

So, try to delete the FM registry, you should have an instruction page if downloaded, if bought with those burnt CD's, there should be one too, or just find the instructions on the internet, and reinstall.

I'm not sure. Here's are some accurate instructions:

Quote:
1. DOWNLOAD THE GAME

2. MOUNT WITH ALCOHOL/DEAMON TOOLS
AFTER EXTRACTING THE ISO FILE FROM THE
FOLDER

3. RUN SETUP OR WAIT FOR AUTO-SETUP

4. INSTALL THE GAME

5. CHOOSE THE PHONE ACTIVATION OPTION

6. WAIT FOR THE INSTALLATION TO FINISH

7. DONT, DONT RUN THE GAME

8. APPLY THE PATCH 9.0.1 THAT IS ON THE "CRACK &
PATCH" FOLDER

9. DONT, DONT RUN THE GAME

10. APPLY THE CRACK THAT IS ON THE "CRACK" FOLDER. CLICK ON IT AND SELECT THE
FM.EXE APPLICATION. WATCH IT CRACK IT.

11. PLAY

Thanks DK. I already fixed it and played it. Steam was the problem...

But, boooooooooo. It's working quite slow on my computer, although demo worked really well even the 3d mode. Plus there isn't anything spectacular. I think I will continue playing FM08.

Disappointed in any case...

I installed it perfectly fine. I selected Phone activation, installation then finished. After the installation is complete I just copied the FM.exe patch.

Works a treat! Started a season with Depor... qualified through "Euro VASE" into the Uefa Cup (drawn against Legia?). I defeated Valladolid in the opening Liga BBVA fixture 3-2.

The team is very shaky though, our defenders are not the best.

Transfers IN: Zebina (loan); Belletti (loan)
Transfer Out: Verdu, Cristian, Manua (3m Pound to Betis)!ll; Piscu (loan); Bodipo (loan); Aranzubia (loan) and a few others.

Note: Taborda and Barragan are in the B Team.

I managed to sell Dudu (5M to Middlesborough), Munua (2M to Torino), Lopo (5M! to Hull City), Sergio (3M! to Racing) and sent Bodipo and Bravo to loan.
After I gathered some money I bought Asenjo for 8M, Cardenas for 400K, loan Insua from Liverpool.
I need a striker (as Mista and Riki are not the swords I am seeking), DM/CM as there is only De Guzman (and he is far worse than in the reality), and a CB as a future starter after Ze Castro's loan expires...

I just haven't been able to get into this game yet, if anything I prefer the simplified versions of 2-3 years ago and even the old Champ Man stuff.

Exactly the same for me, last year's edition wasn't any fun to me and this year's is even worse. I don't even know exactly what it is but I simply don't enjoy it anymore.

I am playing 2008 version. Because nothing has changed in 2009 and I'm worldclass manager in 2008

I stopped playing both when I saw that there are no improvements in 2009.

I have already uninstalled FM2008. I did it mainly because I wanted to play with an updated DB, so I started with 2009. Anyway, well, it is the same...

Believe it or not, I start to enjoy FM2009...
I don't know (maybe because of my addictenes) on a long run it is enjoyable. I play it simoultanously in two saves:
1. one with Depor, where I am in 2010. In the first season I managed to catch the 7th spot, but now a few of my youngsters (signed in 2008) grew up and starting to play better, so now I am 5th at the half of the season.

2. I play a game with my friend as well (he is at ManU, I am at Arsenal). It is our 2nd season. In the first one I won the PL, but I wasn't able to win the CL as I was eliminated in the semifinals... The same goes for FA cup.
Anyway it is a pleasure to see, how the youngsters of Arsenal are growing month by month...
