Quite interesting that he has the highest pass completion rate in our squad.

His start of the season, to me, was excellent but his last couple of games he lost too many balls. It's obvious he's got some talent but he needs to develop more.

Would never have guessed it. His propensity for misplaced passes at the absolute worse times has been a huge problem. Especially his latter games, like Sultan said.

Again, many thanks to Jorge Mendez for being so helpful. We'd end up being at Segunda B without his massive support.

. I just hope there are no two groups in the changing room: one for Depor players, and the other of Mendes' (Portugal) players...

I think a loan could benefit him, but it could be a dangerous decision, we need to have all of our quality players available .. and last season, he was a quality player for us.

it's a strange case really, from a starter to out of the called list .. he seems to have some quality in him but I think his issue is psychological maybe!

Could be psychological. But could also be his physical conditioning. In nearly all his games this season he was like that rhino at the back of the stampede in the film Jumanji.

It seems like a no brainer really .. just add a bit of muscle and intensity to his game, and he could be playing 20 games for Deportivo in Primera.
Just look at people like Camunas, Bodipo, Bobby De Guzman, Aythami etc .. none of these guys have the quality of JuanDo, but yet they have the other two factors, and look how many games they have played in Primera.

JuanDo needs to wake up and smell the coffee, if you want something in life, you need to go and get it, sometimes fight for it.

What a turn around! He has been vital in our revival, I would go as far to say that he is now indispensable to this Team.
Playing week in week out with Valeron can only help him reach another level.
Well done to JuanDo, keep up the good work!

I also like Alex and would like to see him given more minutes. But the reality is that JuanDo is a better creative player, and both Assuncao and Aguilar are better defensive midfielders, IMO.
