Default Your worst football injuries

What's the worst injury you've ever gotten from playing football?

The only bad thing that's happened to me is I broke my arm when I was a keeper - I actually ran into the post and landed on my arm! I was terrible in goal. After that I decided to become a right back so the only things I run into now are people. I guess since I'm a girl it's not that bad because I don't have to come up against any 6'3" 200 lb. men. Any nightmare injuries?

when I was about 12 years old, I kicked past the ball, fell down and bumped my head to the ground.. but instead of hurting my head, I broke my ankle I still find that quite funny!

Oh.. I've had lots of injuries. Not very bad, though.

Three years ago (when I was 14) I had an injury in my hips and couldn't play for like 4 months.

The year after that I injured my back heel and missed 3 months.

Last year I had NO injuries!

And this season I missed a big part of our pre-season cause of back problems. Still it hurts but it's getting better and better.

Very sad to hear Burak... I can't imagine a life without playing football.

Yes, I still play football in a team. As I'm only 17 years old injuries haven't destroyed my career yet.

I am a centre midfielder. Currently I'm playing for Falköpings FK (Swedish 4th division). Not so glamorous, though.

A few years ago my left knee went sort of "out of place" after a bad kick. It wasn't really painfull but very uncomfortable... For a few months I didn't really had much strenght on that knee, but it eventually went back to place.
The funny thing is that, even today, when I'm playing - or simply going up and downstairs - I feel something weird in it... I guess it never healed properly.

Oh yes! Once I hitted the post really-really hard with my head as I was trying to reach for a ball... It was a terrible blow, and I felt dizzy for a good while... but amazingly nothing happened to me... (well, maybe that explains a few things in my life ).
Some people just got very worried, as they thought I was dying there or something, while some of my mates were laughting like hell and rolling on the pitch... bastards!
Since then I try to avoid any header when I play

I still play for a team. Sweeper (centre defence). We lost the league today because the team in second had to win by eleven goals to beat us on goals scored and guess what they won 11-0 . I'm not joking it actually happened, I'm not too happy at the moment.
