Well, Zas is stepping down

But he will leave in January, which I don't understand. At that time the market will be about to close

That really makes no sense. It will be in the statutes that there must be a one-month window?

Finally Zaz did the obvious. The January exist seems a little late, sure, but it's not that there is a candidate in the corner with a set of sporting director-coach ready to get the spot.

I wouldn't bet on the January market, but even the current crappy squad has the potential to surpass a few rivals if given the motivation and perform at 150%. Extremadura and Lugo don't have better players.

But if this "shock" or the new board can act quick and give the players motivation...well, i have my doubts.

The new board, better have a long term plan, with the team starting next season at Segunda B.

Well let's speculate 'who' that new board will be? Are there any candidates we know of? The same faces as last time, or will they pass this time?
Still no rich Godfather to the rescue? Will be end up in Chinese hands?

To manage Deportivo it is not like to manage your own business. One must have a balls to do this. These guys don´t.
With this decision they do not help Deportivo now, but quite the opposite. In long-term its great they are gone, but leaving end of January does not really make sense and is not of a great help.
This scenario reminds me politics in some way - the board made a big mess, said some fairytales months ago, promised the change and all of a sudden all of them leave from the back door like mice + someone else has to clean the mess. Well done really, just like in the big books.

My speculate is that we don't see much of a change now. Probably some of the previous candidates, probably another man of Tino.

If the next plan doesn't work well, the team goes to Segunda B and there could be speculation about liquidation and such things, then there could be a major change, like a Chinese buying the team for 1 euro and such things.

I'd pay 2 euros! I can see liquidation and a restart under a slightly different name and different number, to get off those debts.
It's the single worst thing Lendoiro had (not) done, to ask for bankruptcy like Vigo did. Too proud, but still in deep troubles thanks to that.

Potentially we could see a Team consisting of Vidal, Lendoiro and Fran.

Would you Guys be happy with that?

I think i agree on that. Some 10-15 years back, such things were more flexible. Lots of clubs/companies took advantage and then the laws became more strict, with FFP and such things.

Still i don't think there's a high chance for bankruptcy. Abanca (and others) will lose lots of money in this case, so it could be to their own interest to keep depor afloat, with extra loans, better deals whatever.

This is like, Longo is awful, would we like to see Pandiani back?

Pandiani must be like 45 now, but i prefer him over Longo.

If I'm mistaken it's this guy. He was on the board with Tino, then quit.

Oh no, keep him please!

I'd take Lendoiro + Fran combo.

Vidal was one of the few candidates who openly said he would sack Carmelo and that was months ago.
