They have the huge champions league match tomorrow against Madrid. Hopefully this will cause fatigue and force rotations against us.

Victor will have a full week to prepare for this match, let's see what tactics he will use.

1st home game with Victor in charge, plus what happened in Madrid, I think it will be a heated crowd.
Athletico have a nice 4 point lead over Valencia, and I think that Victor will want us to go for the victory.
So should be an interesting game. If everyone puts in the same effort that Manny put in last nite, weve got a good chance IMO.
Lets hope they get a couple of injuries against r.madrid .. lol

Valencia is better than them this season we give them 3 0 it because of the full focus of all the player on the pitch you guys have to fight back on the pitch to show them we all missing jimmy

Looking at the standings and the upcoming fixtures of all teams involved in the relegation battle, I'm inclined to think that 3 victories will be enough to secure the permanence, in case Almeria gets the punishment. If not, then perhaps 4 victories. With 9 more points, we force Granada to get at least 13/21. Looking at their current form and upcoming schedule, that's never gonna happen. Cordoba would need 19 points... So that's completely impossible.

Then we need one of our opponents to fail: Almeria, Levante, Eibar or Elche. Almeria is the most likely to fail, as they seem to have the hardest schedule. If they lose those three points, then they seem pretty much doomed. A lot will depend on this weekend's game against Rayo.

In any case, to get 9 points, I'd say we either need to beat Atletico or Malaga. If we manage to do that, all we need is a win against Elche, Villarreal or Bilbao. And then the Levante game is key, of course.

This is pretty much the best possible time to face Atletico this season. At home, right in between their CL games against Real Madrid. When they played Celta after their CL games, they were dreadful. I really think we may have a chance here. We simply need to play rough, cause they'll probably be afraid to get injured. A win here would be fantastic for the morale, and we could go to Malaga without too many worries. Really hoping for a stunt.

-------------Fabricio------------
MP-----Lopo----Sidnei---Luisinho
JoséR---Alex----Haris---Lucas/Cav
--------Toché----Riera-----------

I'd like to see something like this, although it may not be the best time to experiment too much. Just not too sure about the wingers.

I believe we can secure a draw at least, but Victor needs to work with defending set pieces.

Atltico strength depends on set pieces and the speed presented by players like Grizman.

Plus Victor need to fix the problem with our side backs making spaces at the back especially done JuanFran.

I dont think he will push with Riera and Toche from the beginning

Excellent result for us, in Atletico - Real. I expect them to play with a bunch of substitute players, who will have the return leg against Real in the back of their heads.

Forza Depor! I'm sure we have a chance against them. Enjoy your trip Niklaso If you don't bring home the three points, don't bother logging in again

Hopefully they will rest some of their key players, also read that they wont be given a seating allocation as fans will not be travelling from Madrid.
Meaning we make make the atmosphere even more intimidating for them.
Either way its gonna be a very tough game for us.

What a good result. 0:0 for Atleti and Madrid. I'm sure Atleti will focus for the next second leg, so the possibility for 3 points is higher than before.

This match can boost Depor's escape from the relegation. VAMOS!
