Barcelona have both starting defensive backs out for our game (sergi roberto & alba), Messi just coming off an injury, and the rest of the team having played 2 games in international duty (except Neymar). Although they will want to prove themselves this game after losing to our neighbors, they also have an important Champions league match against Manchester city on Wednesday, so there is a chance some starters get a rest, opening the door to players like Alcacer, Denis Suarez, Andre Gomes, Mathieu and Arda.

While these are still great players, they would make for a much more manageable game for us rather than playing with their full 11.

I'm more worried about barcas reaction to the defeat vs celta. The last time Barca lost to alaves, they trashed Celtic 7-0.
The time before that when they lost to Valencia they came back to beat depor 8-0 and Gijon 6-0

hahahaha that's the thing Deportivo are always unlucky when it comes to facing these clubs, they draw or lose but when meeting Depor they unleash the beast within.

anyways we too have players on international duties, still we have good replacements for them expect Andone

I remember last year Victor played with 2 strikers, and Fajr doing nothing but watch Busquets and not let him play. We should follow a similar structure if we wanna get something positive from this game.

I agree. Locking busquets down in that game was the key. Hope we will do the same

Our record is actually quite impressive on their pitch. We could frustrate them again, but therefore we'll need to put away some chances. I'd say play Estefi upfront

I would play Guilherme alongside Mosquera for this game, need to tighten up that midfield.

I guess they badly need the points and we badly need to avoid a mauling.

I would be happy if we score at least once and they score no more than 3. Let's face it, we have little hope for a good outcome...

Not Carles Gil could be expected, but a bit surprised not to find Fajr in the list of picked players. Maybe his red card vs Atlético made GG lose his confidence in him.

tactical wise, Alex should be there because aside from Mosquera he is the second player who is defensively good and capable of moving the ball forward.

Plus the guy had two positive performances against Barca and he surprised all of us last season of how he moves the ball and make excellent passes.

Furthermore, he is my best player
